Carl's The Sims 3 Guide & Walkthrough

The Free Strategy Guide for Vanilla Sims 3, Ambitions, and World Adventures

The Sims 3 Ambitons LogoCarl's Sims 3 Guide AvatarThe Sims 3 Ambitions Guides & Walkthroughs:
We've all been working hard on Ambitions and, as you can see, have already put out a ton of guides. I'm happy to say there are probably fewer than ten guides left to write or update.

If you are on the fence about buying the expansion, check out the Ambitions Guide. There's a nice list of most of the new content included with the expansion. This should help you to decide if it's right for you.

The current side project I'm working on is upgrading the collecting maps. We're gathering pink diamond spawn points at the forum and I have assembled full images of the three towns in a way many of you wouldn't have seen them before: Check it out here. This stuff hasn't been implemented into the guide yet as it's about 25% complete.

The Sims 3 World Adventures LogoWorld Adventures Guides and Walkthroughs:
Our coverage of World Adventures is now largely complete, allowing us to focus on polishing existing work. Read the three destination guides: China, Egypt, and France to learn about the new locations expansion owners can enjoy. Guides to Martial Arts, Nectar Making, and Photography are the starts of the bunch. All should help greatly in your pursuit of these new skills. Existing guides have also been updated to include content for World Adventures. For example, the expansion adds new fish, collectibles, plants for the garden, objects, and other items. Check the World Adventures section of the guide for a full list of expansion-specific articles.

If you haven't yet bought the expansion, I give it a solid recommendation. I've played the Sims 3 a lot as you can tell, and World Adventures has breathed new life into it for me. Completing dungeons and collecting new items is a blast, and I'm in love with the new skills, especially Martial Arts. Head to our forum to ask questions about the game. Questions lead to help, which leads to more and more info for other players to enjoy.
