About the adventure collection, does every task from the adventure board count? That will say does deliver 3 frogs count as one adventure or do you have to do the tomb task like discover "insert tomb name" and bring me the relic?

Any adventure from the board counts. Even frogs.

I finished! I did much better than i had expected. I tried to minimize my vacation time, and it worked well. Besides for spending 2 days on the yellow band dart butterfly, I got very lucky with the insects which probably explains my low vacation time.

Vacation time = 21 days

Home = week 3, day 6

I'm glad you flagged me here because I never have time to look at all the other threads. Yeah, that's ridiculous, Salty, and totally out of your control. No different than your computer blowing up and frying your game file. You get a do over.

I figured I would catch ya here before anywhere else, lol.  Thanks for letting me start over again.  I was not really expecting to, but I did however go out of the game without saving it.  I figured I would play it again at some time and see if it happens again, if it does happen again, I am done with particular game, lol.  Thanks again.

I don't know if this is relavant or not, but transfiguration is definately behaving differently with ambitions installed then without, I'm not sure whether this will make a big difference to this challenge or not.

EDIT: Nevermind. I see your post in the Transfiguration thread. Rats. This could mess things up a bit for Ambitions players.

EDIT 2: I've IM'd Pam on this issue. It needs immediate attention. Until we can resolve this issue, please do not waste any time trying to make Supernovium if you have Ambitions installed as it's clear that the recipe is different than what's on the Guide.

On the subject of Ambitions changes: There are no ownership deeds to community lots any more, so technically anyone starting the challenge now can no longer fulfill all requirements . Of course you can still buy full ownership of the science facility, you just have to do without displaying the deed.

You can still make regular supernovium the old fashioned way and then combine them to make large supernovium, it just threw a monkey wrench into my plans.

Okay, whew. I'm still clueless on the whole Transfiguration aspect of the game. Then, maybe Pam and I don't need to address this after all.

Well, I think all 3 players that have posted scores to date did so before Ambitions was released, so as I've said numerous times — stuff happens. Expansions get released and things change. Yes, unfortunately it changes the "fairness" a bit, and I'm sorry about that.

Ha ha. Thanks for reminding me of that, ik. I'll change the wording in the Snob Collection to make that more clear.

The foundation of my strategy was removed with the Ambitions patch and now I'm halfway through and have to rethink my tactics.  I think I'll just try to finish this challenge and shoot for top ten on the next one
