Great post, Snooty. And to the folks who've shared I think you should know I have to feature some of these paintings in the paintin' guide!

I've got more Sims with the traits Snooty gave us and I'll post other paintings as I'm able to get them.

This painting is the same as the one above, but it was painted by a Computer Whiz.  I've got two from him and I sort of like them.

This one is a red ribbon:

This one is a squirrel or other type of rodent:

This page isn't loading properly for me at the moment, so I can't see your paintings, Leftcoaster.  But I want to welcome you to our Forum.  We hope to see you around!

Edit:  Ok, now they're loading.  Very nice!  I especially like the picnic.

That was the neurotic Sim, she also has Genius. Not all of her paintings are those neon horrors.

That vampire thing kind of creeps me out. Sometimes they paint things inspired by what they've seen, like a lighthouse or fishing. Did she see this when I wasn't looking? :o

I have noticed that the scenary around the Sim has an influence on what is painted. Example: I have a painter who paints numerous outdoor scenes, and he lives on the lot to the right of Agnes Crumplebottum (it has a a nice view onto the ocean).

I've had Sims up on those lots and they will often paint pictures of the lighthouse which they can see from their lot.

Those are my favorite paintings, they are usually masterpieces of a high value when completed.
