I painted that Lily painting and I haven't installed WA.

The ship is pretty cool.

Ohhhhh!  That's very nice!  I love dragons and seeing them in the background is awesome!  They almost look like the dragons of Pern except they're missing the front legs that Pern dragons have.

My, all these paintings! I think when Carla and Marty's baby ages up I'll select artistic (if I can choose!) I've only played one artistic sim in TS3 and I lost interest in him when I came back from another household to find him married! I had intended him to be the bachelor artist and a bit of a lady's man.
mmm, I probably need a few more residents around town, I might even create someone artistic and move them into the studio house on the coast so I can play them straight away.

I think the colored part is a flower and the black things are leaves/trees. A flower in a tropical forest or something.

It's just done all artistic-like with color vs black and white. ;)

I wondered what it was when my Sim painted it. Here's my favoritess out of the 21 my Sim painted.
Sorry about the link, but there's four different pics!

I don't have a picture for you, but I have a question!

In the legacy challenge how do you get them to paint a picture of themselves? I have a level 8 painting sim and am kind of confused.

I'm fairly certain the point is to get someone else to paint their picture.

Note to self: marry sim with artistic trait

If that's what you want, go meet people at the art museum. People with the artistic trait, obviously, tend to go there.

With a lot of fiddling, I managed to make a sim paint a self-portrait.  Basically I set them to do a 'still-life' and then played around forever with the position controls to get the picture to be of them but not the easel.

Another way may be to have your sim stand in front of a mirror and then 'memorise picture' which you can later 'paint from memory' but I've not tried this one.

Whenever I've memorized a scene, my Sim turns invisible.  ???

I figured it out!

I rotated the camera to look at her before she started painting and hit 'Still life'. It worked but is still really small.

My evil Sim uses a lot of red in his paintings:

Except this one he must have run out of red paint!  ;D

@ Kat, thank you.  ;)

@ Metro...yeah I couldn't wait for my Sim to up his painting skill to paint that Ninja, someone posted it on the previous pages.  It was painted with purple and my Sim painted it in red, I figured it was because he was evil.  :P
