Use of lifetime points isnt 'cheating' right?  I'm going to need that fertility treatment.

Definitely not. Be fruitful and multiply.

However, if a child really does die without interference from the player, then that's just how it is.

How is this even possible? What are the different legit ways a child could die? Starving to death can only be viewed as intentional by a player. I'm thinking electrocution is not possible. At least for a toddler or child since they would not be able to repair an object.

If free will is turned to high, a child might get into a pool on his own when he's too tired and drown.  It's not likely, but it's possible.  And fire is a possibility.  I've had many fireplaces catch fire and the stupid kids run right up to it and start screaming.  I've been lucky enough to get them all put out in time, but it's possible that a child would die in a fire.  Not electrocution, I think, because children cannot repair items.  A teenager probably could, though.  Starving would be intentional, true.  To be allowed in the challenge, it would have to be a truly unavoidable accident that the player couldn't prevent or rescue.

So they started baby making on day one, resulting in twin boys, then triplet girls, then a boy.  Aladdin, tigger, piglet for the boys, Ariel, Cinderella and Jasmine so far woo!
Aladdin and tigger are children, and oh BOY these kids are hardest when they're todlers, managing their moods, and teaching them to walk/talk/go potty?!?! AHH!
But i SERIOUSLY almost burned the house down with a birthday cake on the baby girl's birthday!  Oh my. And right before piglet was born!
I like having a big family on the sims (:.  I like twins, even triplets, but 6 toddlers is a HUGE challenge oh my.

Give it a shot if you want. The results from this are not going towards the World Ranking that will be unveiled in spring. I am doing another version of this soon, so stay tuned. And that — and obviously all other current/future events — will go towards your ranking.

I just found this and decided to give it a shot, but I'm a little bored waiting for them to all age up so they can have more babies.

It actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but it definitely had its moments! I needed a theme for naming since I know there were going to be a lot of babies, so they are all named after characters from the office. First they had twin girls, Pam and Karen. Then came triplet boys, Jim, Andy, Dwight. Finally (for now) is a single girl named Phyllis. Five toddlers was interesting! Especially because there was an accidental fire and it took the fire department over 2 hours to put it out! So of course my sims had to stand around (and I had to keep trying to stop them from running to the fire) and all the babies needs just kept dropping. Definitely called the babysitter for help after that!

Right now the twins and triplets are children and Phyllis is about to age up. I just need to get motivated to keep them going!

Welcome to the forum, annieb!  I'm glad you're trying this challenge.  I experienced the same lull where it got a little boring.  Enjoy it, though, because it'll ramp up again soon enough!

I'm going to try this out. Seems like a great way to relax a bit from the tournament challenges.

I think I'll get this finished tomorrow. Currently I'm at 5 young adults out, 1 teen (3 days from YA), 3 infants, and the mom is pregnant again. So I should end up with at least 11 children, but I'm not sure if I can fit in a 12th.

But there was a very brief moment (like half an hour) where there was only 1 child in the household! It was weird, but don't worry, shortly after that the new triplets came home!

Finished! I had 6 young adults, 3 toddlers, and 2 infants. My last young adult moved out and I had about a day to try and get the mom pregnant again, but it didn't happen. So I managed a total of 11!

My scoring would be 6 x 1600 = 9600, 3 x 200 = 600, 2 x 100 = 200
Total: 10,400

That was a fun challenge! I think I'll keep playing the family because I'm excited to see how many grandkids they end up having! They currently have 1 granddaughter but I'm sure they'll get lots more!

I know this was started a while back, but I just found your website when looking for tips on career tracks and decided I'd try this challenge. I really hate the toddler stage but I think this will be fun :) Wish me luck

I just found this website, and love these challenges.
I have just finished this one!  Definitely a challenge

I finished with 10100

6 x YA evicted 9600
1 x Toddler       200
3 x Infants       100

I didn't know about the watermelon and apple thing, so without even trying there were a total of 7 boys and only the final set of triplets were girls!!
We could learn a lot from crayons:
Some are sharp, some are pretty,
Some are dull, some have weird names,
And all are different colors....but
They all exist very nicely in the same box.

First pregnancy down. Got twin boys! Off to a good start! :)
I was reading the pregnancy page on here about how listening to kids music & watching kids TV helps your chances of twins/tripletts. Does this work after your visibly pregnant too? I did it after I was for this first pregnancy but I'm wondering if it was that or just luck lol
Anyways this is fun...off to make more babies lol

Second pregnancy down, twin girls wohoo

Just found your site, love these ranked challenges!  How fun!

I went ahead and did this one.  I thought it would be a fun place to start.  My final score is:

Evicted Young Adults: 3
Teens: 3
Toddlers: 2
Infants: 1

Now that I see other people had SIX evicted YA's I'm thinking maybe I need to start over and try again. lol

AriaGirl77, welcome to the forums. Wow, this challenge has received quite a shot in the arm lately. I'm glad I didn't move it to the Graveyard. I'll update your score on the leaderboard.

Metro, I was reading back through the other pages of this challenge to look for any tips and I think it's hilarious that you didn't even want to do the challenge and you ended up with the highest score, lol. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Hmm, i'll give a quick try to this one. Let's see if a little trick can break the YA limit.

Take a look at the explicit rules in bold on p.1. I'm mentioning this in case your trick is already forbidden.

Wow, this challenge is not for me at this time. I have not played the game since I decided to take on this challenge until yesterday when I finally admitted to myself that I was to afraid of it and decided to not take on this challenge. So, maybe at some point in the future when I have started to look after a second adult sim (I have still not done this) I may go for it. But for now I will be taking on different challenge!
