Fireproof mummies

Just wondering, what if the offspring of a fireman, with the hidden trait fireproof is turned into a mummy? Will he still be fireproof? I'm asking because mummies are normally wandering torches.

What interesting questions you come up with sometimes.

I think it is very unlikely that someone has actually tested this, but my gut feeling tells me that the mummy would be fireproof. They still get the same moodlet as normal sims do before they die, but the time for it is just so much shorter.
