Well if I don't have the Travel EP then at least none of their wishes will be going on holiday, right? Don't you think normal basegame wishes would add up to much?

And when you start off, can I use the motherlode to build a house or not? Not sure I have many empty (cheap) houses left!

You'll be starting with a new town, so any cheap houses that came with the game, you'll have them to choose from. I hate being repetitive, but it's in the rules.  ;)

Okie dokie. Just happened to check the thread out and thought I'd try to help. Obviously, the Mighty Metropolis Man needeth not the interference of newbie peons.   ;D

I'm just happy that in my bit o' playing time today, crazy Sally finished the first challenge that leads to the Omni plant and is closing in on her LTW.

You, too, can succeed in life wearing bathing suit bottoms or bikini undies most of the time! It helps if you're crazy, though.  :D

Definitely. There are no moving restrictions.

I'm past the half-way mark and the consignment store broke grrr (I only started using it last night!). Not long to go now though, I might finish this weekend.

Thought so, just wanted to double check, thanks!

I would like to give this challenge a try, too.  I like the randomness.  Please sign me up.

I think for now I'm going to drop out of this challenge since I don't have World Adventures.  :'(  I might be able to buy it at the end of this week, or next week, though. If that happens would I be able to re-join? hehe

Well, you can't start over if that's what you're asking. So, why don't you try and pick up WA next week and just continue at that point? If you don't have it in two or three weeks then you can tell me at that point to remove you from the table. Sound good?

No, that was not info I already had!! yay! I'm going to go beg my husband now. Thank you very much :) hehe

Edit: So close, but yet so far away. I have a stupid mac, and even though the box in the picture says WIN MAC, it won't let me download it for mac. Which doesn't make since. Wahhhh  :'(

Another Edit (teehee): I bought the physical version, so I had to pay shipping, but it was still cheaper than the other options. Yay! So I'll resume this challenge when it gets here :)

A sim of mine has the moodlet "is disgusted by food" and the home is spick and span, and there is no spoiled food in their inventory, I was wondering if I could get the moodlet manager and get rid of just that one moodlet and delete the moodlet manager?

Have you given it a chance to run it's course? I've noticed that sims can eat leftovers and get that moodlet. I happens just before the food in the fridge goes off.

@xK-la — Open the cheats panel, testingcheatsenabled true
On a Mac keyboard I believe it's control-click to remove unwanted moodlets. Not sure if it's the same key combo for PCs. But, do that and that will be fine.
Save and exit your game then relaunch to see if the moodlet goes away permanently.

I didn't even know you could do that, saves me from wasting points on a moodlet manager.

Thanks Metro it worked, oh and also ctrl-click is the same on the PC.

I keep having this problem of this one kind of dining table appearing in the junkyard (I'm playing in Sunset Valley) that can't be salvaged. They're blocking other things from spawning or keeping my Sims away from objects they could salvage. Is there a legal, for the challenge, way to get rid of them? Or am I stuck with what little I can get to?

Maybe the move objects cheat? I've never used it so check the Guide for the specific cheat panel code. But, if this is causing you problems in your game, then I don't have a problem with you deleting it that way. Save and exit your game after you do this.

If you have an inventor with high enough skill, you can just detonate the table and get the scrap from it.
