Yes, you can. I can't award you more town days though to make up the difference for not being able to take 100 vacation days with World Adventures.

yay...school is finally out for 2 weeks and i'm starting my sims marathon now to work on this challenge really hard!
So far I'm only at week 5 with only 6 vacation days used. 
I hope I can finish in time, I'm going to try real real hard hehe

Not bad I guess since this was my first challenge.  I also learned alot about vacations, lol.

My worst problem is that Catherine and Jr both hated Lex but Lex kept spinning up wants to become friends with JR and JR kept spinning up wants to win a fight against Lex or see Lex's ghost.

My wishmasters were having a birthday party and I have honestly never seen a birthday cake catch on fire lol.
I snapped this real quick in between trying to keep my wishmasters away from the fire....I thought it was pretty funny all the sims standing around screaming at the fire. At the end of the evening, all the sims enjoyed the party and I was told the party was "awesome verging on Epic" so I guess if you want a great party....start a fire? lol

That's what ALL the cool kids do, haha! You must be a great party thrower if you can nearly kill all the guests and they still love you. Congratulations

When will it end? I think that everyone who just finishes this challenge deserves a prize lol. I had almost a full day of playing today (not continuously, but the game has been loaded all day) and I feel like I've really slogged at it yet I'm only at the end of week 10! I want to get onto the DaVinci game, but I know if I don't keep plugging away at this one, I'm going to run out of time. Guess it really was a learning curve hey Metro.

HELP!
Two of my sims will not go to bed...I keep clicking on the bed and they don't go. It just goes off the que. There is nothing blocking the way to the bed...it's in the same place it's always been, but I moved it around the room I even moved it outside and they just won't go! There's nothing weird going on in the house (fire, burglary) they just won't go!! I tried exiting the game and restarting and they still won't !! I don't know what to do lol

Edit: Got it fixed...not sure how I fixed it though lol. I moved out of the house and back into the house and they still wouldn't go, but they would go to the other bed in the house. So I deleted the bed and got a new bed and then it was fine. lol Who knows.

I had that same problem but with the "Clean House" interaction with my neat sim. I'm not sure how but it was fixed after exiting the game twice... it was irritating because I had to look around every time someone got the "disgusted/ dirty surroundings" moodlet.

I have had that bed bug a couple times.  <Bed bug! /giggle>  I just sell the bed, buy a new one and shazam, it is fixed.

I also had that problem on a different game after my husband died. I don't remember if I ever fixed it or not because I haven't played on that file since. If I do I'll remember to delete it and buy a new one.

Well, I am finally done.  Meet the residents of the Randomhouse!  They are Ananias, Francois, Trinity and Aimee.  On the last day of the challenge, they are seated nicely next to their outdoor garden for their final photo session.

I was just about to get on here and ask about resetting her when I decided to try something. I have no idea why I thought this might work. Maybe I've been around computers so long and found ways to get software to do what it was supposed to even when the programs didn't behave that I just think of odd stuff. So what did I do? My Sim was wearing her Martial Arts outfit and I had her change into her Everyday outfit. Et voila! Fixed!

:laugh: I think it goes to show that thinking logically isn't always the best policy in the Sims 3. Oh, and try everything you can think of when you have a problem, no matter how strange it seems!

My computer got a really bad virus so I had to reinstall the OS and lost everything. Is it alright if I start this one over or do I have to sit this one out?

You can have a redo. Create Sims with the same traits and LTW as your first batch (assuming you kept notes).

I took snapshots of my fearsome trio, but could not figure out to add them to my post.  My group are old.  When I first started, I forgot to change my life span to long.  Oops.  At least they had stopped fighting at every turn.  They got wiser as they aged, thank goodness.

Thanks. I'll make my sims the same as before (but they'll probably look different... oh well). I tried reinstalling last night, but my computer won't get past a certain point. I guess I'll have to install using the digital download method because my computer has problems reading CDs, but that'll take forever. grr

What happened to #4?? 

She was in the science career and took an experimental drug treatment, then when she exited the building she burst into flame. For some reason i could only stare and watch in horror.
