Final, pathetic as I warned you, score
Sally Vagary: 132,018
Steve Vagary: 190,192
Ken Chance: 153,982
Rochelle Chance: 155,297
Week 9, Day 6
Vacation Days: 9
I added up my total using the PC's calculator, but didn't get a chance to put it up last night. Total: 632,279
Here were their traits:
Rochelle Chance: Brave, Eco-Friendly, Lucky, Schmoozer, and Natural Cook LTW: Celebrated Five Star Chef
Ken Chance: Athletic, Daredevil, Disciplined, Friendly, Klepto LTW: Master Thief
Sally Vagary: Dislikes Children, Good Sense of Humor, Green Thumb, Heavy Sleeper, Crazy LTW: The Perfect Garden
Steve Vagary: Angler, Party Animal, Savvy Sculptor, Snob, Virtuoso LTW: Rock Star
What I learned from the traits I'd never played before (the new to me Traits are listed is in my starting Challenge post, page 42) and playing the Challenge itself:
Eco-Friendly and Natural Cook produce Organic Meals that may keep longer before spoiling (obviously I haven't had time to run any tests and may not)
Savvy Sculptor is an excellent trait if you intend your Sim to sculpt. That may seem like an obvious point, but....
I see no advantage to the Snob trait, unless you're dealing with the Easily Impressed, and you don't need it then, eitherEven Sims who Dislike Children can come up with wanting to have a baby wishes (therapist, please!)
Saw no advantage to Heavy Sleeper
Brave Sims will beat the tar out of burglars (and you can get burgled even if a member of your household is in the Criminal career. Apparently we're back to 'no honor among thieves'.)
Crazy can can be amusing, but it can also setback romances and/or friendships if you don't watch your Sim carefully when they interact with others.
It's also good if you don't care what they wear when

Anyone have a different result(s) than above? If it it's ancient history or in the Guide, please let me know where I can find this hallowed wisdom.

One look at my score and you can see that even if I had any strategies, I wasn't pursuing them aggressively enough.
