You have to fill it up the first time for around eleven simoleons I think. Then you can upgrade it, which doesn't count as a unique upgrade for some reason, so it has a sensor in it.

I'm not sure you may have to click the link through their Facebook page that's where I saw it. Here's the link to their Facebook page. If you switch the page from "Everyone" to "Just Sims 3" it's only a few posts down.

I just tried it through the Facebook link, but it still says it's 575 simpoints. If EA is going to say something is free, they should probably make it free.

(Also, I am logged in, if that makes a difference.)

Strange, I followed the link posted in the free stuff thread and got it for free. And when I follow the link in this thread it has the price crossed out and free under it. I don't think being outside of the US makes a difference, I'm in Australia.
Seems a lot of people are replying to the Facebook post saying they were charged.

THANK YOU, alex! It was showing up for 575 Simpoints for me, so I changed my country to the United States and got it for free. If anyone asks, I'm in California.

oops, that's probably why I got it free. I had my language set to English-US to get one of the car packs and didn't bother to change it back.

I AM in the US though, and it IS set to US... still says it's going to cost me.

However, I just went to the IGS store, and it worked. I wonder why it wasn't working for me on the official site?

I was too late to,I had a message from a Sim guru telling me it was free but I only just checked my messages on the official website.
I actually already have three of the teen dresses in the set so it is not a great loss. It is always nice to get things for free though.

EA is Pacific Standard Time (PST or GMT-8) based so the site should be too. It's currently (approximately) Thursday, February 16, 10:40 a.m. by Pacific Time Zone now.

Today is Thursday which means the Daily Deal is updated hourly. The "Through the Spy Glass" sets were the previous deals, also some old clothing sets. At the moment it's the Haute Hip, down to 618 simpoints. Only 15 minutes left and 15% claimed.

Ack! I paid full price for that thing when it first came out! That's a much bigger discount than they normally give.
