I'm also having touble getting my Store items reinstalled.  I can download them from the Store, install them through the launcher.  But that's where it stops.  When I actually open the game, my purchased items aren't there!  I uninstalled Fast Lane, reinstalled it, and nothing.  I uninstalled/reinstalled Fast Lane and Ambitions.  Still nothing.  I've written to EA about this problem.  In the meantime, anyone have any suggestions or me?

I ALWAYS have this problem unless I enter my game as administrator.  So when I click on the launcher icon I right click, bring up the menu and select "play as administrator" and I'm good to go.  If that doesn't work I do a general tidy up of my pc and game files, reboot, and try again.
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!

I know. Sometimes I feel bad because the sims suffer, and I could help them, but I'm like 'NOOO I CANT NOOOOO I'M SO SORRY  :'('...I felt extreamly bad when I killed off a family's two mom characters, but it was important to the story I was doing...Never again though.

Anyway, has anyone noticed the FL cars going faster than the other cars at their price level? The truck I like practially flew down the street....

@ Joria and Pam: on what system are you two running The Sims? Windows Vista or Seven? If Joria's version differs from that from Pam, her solution may maybe not work on Pams system, because I am sure she tried to run the game as an administrator already.

O and Pam, don't be mad at me but for the first time in mankind history I've discovered a misspelled word in your text. ;) It is 'trouble', not 'touble.' I am so proud of myself right now! :D
