Which is your favourite Profession?

I was just curious which Profession was the most popular and which was the least popular with Simmers?

I just voted for Self-employed Skill, but reading the list more closely, I'm wondering if I chose the right one.  What is the difference between Self-employed Skill, Self-employed Sculptor, and Self-employed Inventor?  They are all skills.  When I checked Skill I was thinking of all skills.

I prefer rabbit hole careers if I go that route. If I wanted to do my sims work tasks then i'd just go self employed painter or musician.

Yeah, the professions get repetitive once you get used to it. At least careers get repetitive but you can just fast forward the sim working.  :P

Anyway, on topic: I vote for Ghostbusters, definitely!

I like fire-fighting and styling...being a firefighter, I get lots of good compliments and I like all the action. :)

I voted ghostbuster, although I really like firefighting too. Ghostbusting was the career that really got me excited about Ambitions and it hasn't disappointed me :)

Me neither. In fact, it's revitalized my life with something intresting every moment of the day. I plan on making my sim an inventor after he finishs his tenure as the ghost hunter.

I like the ghost hunter. It's fun and you can make good money. I also like the tune that plays while doing spirit invasion, anyone know where I can download it? Or where I can find it on my PC?

Yeah!!! Every time I play I end up singing that song 24 hours a day for... days!

Anyway, I like Ghostbuster and Inventor all the same. Ghostbuster is really fun and great for making money, but I love the time machine, the miner and the simbot. I also don't like buying simbots... I like my sims to make them themselves, so inventing is a must. :D.

I really like the self employed profession. I never liked how if you were a painter or writer it said unemployed so I'm glad they included the self employed! Now my sims don't have to feel like bums :)

I have to go with the Ghost Hunter too. Specifically because they added a trick to it with World Adventures. The transmogrifying displays filled with spirits creates a pretty nifty headstone complete with randomly generated ghost to haunt from it. I just wish there was a 'sell all' feature for pawning spirits at the science lab.

Voted sculptor.

Ghostbuster was the most fun at first, but once you get into a family it's pretty tedious micromanaging the restrictive hours and home sims.

Sculpting was just the most fun for me overall.

My favorite would be self employed. That way my stay at home moms don't have to feel like bums while they are raising a family, keeping up the house and cranking out novels/ paintings.

Ghosthunter. It's hard in a multiple sim household, but since my sims are singles, it's not a problem.

I like the poll samoht.  I really like the firefighter, but haven't even tried the ghostbuster yet.  I'm a little slow. :D

Who you gonna call? Ghost Busters! No doubt the best addition IMO.

Got to go with ghost hunter too, although to be fair I haven't tried firefighter yet. Least favorite is interior designer, it's a nice idea but the requirements for each job are so arbitrary and the exterior ones particularly often mean having to change something that looks just fine as it is. I also like that teenagers can register as self-employed, which counts for that 'get a job' opportunity from school.

I guess I have an instinct for this, but I really vote for RETIRED  ;D

A quick run to the "Top of The Tree", lifetime want achieved, and then retire/quit.
Then you can go on vacation, and paint, and basically just enjoy things.

"Work" is a dirty word, once you have earned enough money not to have to do it  ;)

I really had fun with the Private Investigator one. But my internet became trojan-ized and I had to restore my computer. So now he's gone.  :'( I imagine I will create him again. At least I remembered what I named him. I've never tried the others. Actually, I have tried the Firefighter one. But yet again, this was before my computer was infected and I only got to put out one small house fire. The Ghostbuster and the Interior Designer sound really cool too. I'll have to try them. Also Sculptor. Sorry, drabble, drabble, drabble.
