Sim unable to bomb objects in WA?

I was wondering how to make a bomb.  My sim is wanting to blow something up, but I cannot figure out how to do so.  I have looked to see if there was a topic and in the guide, but I couldn't find any so sorry if I missed it.    Thanks!

If you mean your Sim wants to "Detonate [object]", all you gotta do is find the said object, click it and choose the Detonate option. You don't need to make a bomb for it. Make sure it is an open area, also.

It doesn't have the detonate option.  She has mastered the invention skill also.

Yes, that is exactly what I mean. I am in Egypt right now, would that have anything to do with it?  Do you have to be in home town?

But anything in the hometown is fair game.

I was wondering if the fact that this sim is a teenager has anything to do with not being able to detonate.  I just realized I left that part out of my original post and didn't know if that was relevant.  Thanks

It's possible.  I think I saw something in the detonation description in the game about children not being able to detonate and that would probably include teenagers.  Is the teenager able to detonate at home?

No, she is unable to detonate at home too.  I just figured this out last night.  Another 25 sim days till she ages, maybe she will after that.   Thanks, I will post if she is able to detonate or not when she ages.

Well, my sim finally aged into a young adult and IS able to detonate now.  It must be that kids and teens cannot detonate.  Thanks for all the help!
