Caption Contest #6 (September 2010)

Calling all witty writers! Bring your best one-liners and step up to the mic for another edition of our ongoing Caption Contest. Rules are as follows:

Caption Phase: Everyone (including staff) is allowed ONE caption during Caption Phase (approximately two weeks). Captions must be 50 words or less. You're forbidden to make any additional posts in this thread during Caption Phase. If you don't understand something, send a PM. Remember to use proper grammar and punctuation. Something won't be very funny if there are typos in it.

Favorites Phase: After about two weeks staff will close Caption Phase and open Favorites Phase with a new poll. Favorites Phase will last an additional two weeks. During Favorites Phase you can participate in the poll and choose your favorite 3 captions. You are not allowed to vote on your own caption.

After Favorites Phase is complete, staff will close the contest, and based on the poll results, a winner will be announced.

I would like to apologize for my extended leave of absence. If you would like to know why I have been missing, please PM me, I would be happy to tell you, though I wish it to not go totally public. I'm glad to be back, as I love the forum, and will be returning to story writing soon enough.
