Hopefully, they'll put greenhouse stuff into the game sometime.  I'll just wait.  Thanks for the information.  :)

Well done!  Seems to me there are a lot of deaths of fire from sculpting or inventing.  Definitely putting a shower in BEFORE my heir sculpts or invents!  Love that green house.  Thinking hard about whether or not I should CC.  It might tempt me to use it in other challenges and CC is generally forbidden.
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!

It's a bad idea.  This is the Forum Manager strongly urging you not to get involved in third party custom content.

I've never had custom content, but when I see that stunning greenhouse, boy, it's tempting.  Very interesting story.

I know what you mean.  It really is such a gorgeous piece of construction.

I must say that I'm a lot more discerning with what CC I download for TS3 then I ever was for 1 or 2. Most of the pieces I have now are by artists that have been around for 2 and one or two were possibly creating for 1. I tend to stick with these because I know they do quality work and I can't recall ever having problems with their items in game.
Now back to my dynasty.. off to play some more and take some screenshots to update. I'm deciding what to do about Andrew's toddler ice sculpture. What with one thing or another, Nicholas didn't start the sculpture until just before Andrew aged up so it wasn't completed till after his birthday. Then when it was completed, it turned out as just one of the discs. It still says it is an ice sim and is worth a decent amount, but I'm not sure I want a disc in the museum. I did exit the game hoping when I came back in it would be fine as when the ones in the museum turned into discs, they returned to normal once I reloaded, but this is still a disc. >:(  At least I have his portrait done and I think there is a photo of him on one of the cameras.

Even though the disk would look odd in the museum, it would still count toward your museum value at the end of the challenge.

Life goes on in the Avery household. Andrew had a birthday. This is the shirt he aged up with. I thought it cool as his mother is Egyptian.

Nicholas finally reached the point where his ice sculptures no longer melt. Unfortunately, he only got one chance to sculpt Andrew before the toddler’s birthday and the result was less than ideal. Oh, well, a disc is better than an ice goblin when it comes to museum pieces.

Aging up on a Saturday morning gave Andrew a chance to try a few activities before his first day of school. He played some computer games and also had a go at some cooking which he quite enjoyed. Who knows, he may just continue with the cooking.

Andrew met a few classmates at school and on his second day, Joanne Kimura came home with him. Andrew was a little antisocial and went straight to do his homework (with no prompting) Joanne was not put off by this however and chatted with Tahiya. Tahiya discovered that Joanne is artistic, disciplined and hates the outdoors.

Later, while Tahiya cooked dinner, Joanne did some cooking herself and then got to know Jackson. When dinner was ready everyone had a meal together,  well almost everyone.. I really think a larger dining table is in order!

Later that night, Tahiya and Nicholas were not impressed with being woken up by Holly rummaging through their clothes hamper, but Jackson was more than happy to see his love.

Good update.  I have noticed that most people keep the tombstone on lot so the ghost can roam free.  Only thing is if the ghost comes into a sims room, it wakes them up with just their presence.  It doesn't really matter, I think it adds something to the story, so that is why I am keeping Agnes around, lol.  Everyone's stories are getting so good. :)
