And now ladies and gentlemen, here is my post in the right place! *Round of applause*

I have a rather impressive stone collection, but I get jealous of my Sim`s superior collections! I just can`t compete with someone who has pink diamonds and a meteor in their living room. I like to reassure myself that I have two spire cuts in real life, and most of my sims don`t. -Sticks tongue out at screen- Nah, nah, nah, I bought these for only a few quid, let`s you do that! One thing I`ll never be able to do is hover a mouse over my real stones and find out what they are, disappointing because I can name only very few of them! My raw quartz, desert rose, fragons eggs and tigers eye. Pretty bad considering I have more stones than I can keep count of! But my smarty pants sims always know what their stones are. Anyone else have sims envy?

I`ve done that! I look weird with different hair. I also tried dressing myself up as a goth, it was so bad and so funny!

I discovered one of our neighbors has a car just like the cheapest one in the game. They're not very common around here, but this one was a dead ringer. I'd take a picture if I didn't think they would wonder why I was doing that.

I made a Simself (or an approximate one anyway, lol) to see if red hair would suit me, and it kinda did, so I went ahead with it. It didn't turn out red in real life though, but now I have a Sim who looks like me but with red hair running around town!

You know you've played too much Sims when you want to recolour something, think 'Find that little painty thing! Think, where did you see it last?' and then it hits you, you aren't in Buy Mode, or a Sim at all. Sigh...

I don't know if anybody have thought of this, you know you played too much sim when you take action using a que, and when at school or work use the "options"
My favorite is "take it easy"

and sometimes chat with classmates, anyone uses the "work hard" option ?

When you look in the mirror and think, why can't I just wake up looking great like my sims and not look like I have been dragged through a bush backwards.

(No seriously, my hair just goes on end in the morning, I need cement to keep it down! Yet my Sims with their fancy hairstyles get out of bed with a not a hair out of place!)

When you see a TV show, and wonder if EA was watching those shows when creating the townies. I'm seeing Sim Behavior in my TV Shows. I'm seeing that the EA team was watching the Brady Bunch when they created the Bunch Family and that Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory was the inspiration of Cycl0n3 Sw0rd.

At California Pizza Kitchen, I saw a girl with the wavy hair and the flower, just like the hairstyle in the Sims 3.

I'm addicted for sure.

I'm at the stage where I'll walk into a house and think "Oooh, I can build this!", see an outfit and go "I'd like those colours on a Sim!", meet someone and think "You'd be cute as a Sim!", get invited out and think, "Ooh, I'll wear that cute little dress that I got when I... installed Generations, you idiot", and so on and on. Whenever I see a pattern or design, the first thing I do is to count the colours because you can only have four in CAP. Everything comes back to The Sims. I think it's what you call "The Tetris Effect", only for Sims. Dearie me, I think I need to head back to the Sims Anonymous thread.

When I start noticing patterns of clothes RL ppl are wearing are the same ones in my game for a wallpaper or bedspread.
