 :-[ Been there.

Also, I think I forgot to mention, one day I played so much the sims, that when I woke up the next day, after nearly 4 hours of sleep, I got up and tried clicking my desk to pick up my stuff...

Four hours of sleep, don't think I've pulled that one before! Yikes. But another thing I do whenever I'm on a school computer is to instinctively type "sims3.com" instead of whatever I was supposed to be looking up into the browser, then realise what I've done and frantically mash backspace before anyone notices. Funny thing is that the site's not blocked by the school filter. Pity I graduate soon, I could have really abused the school's internet server (kidding!).

Is there anyone else who ever finds themselves wishing real life had some of the great Sims features?  I mean, my life would be so very much easier with a Motherlode or two ...  ;D

YES! I would love some familyfunds! Also I would love to make my needs static, I would never have to eat or sleep!! What would I do with all the extra time? Why play sims of course!  ;D ;D

I would be happy enough with some stuff like Steel Bladder, Fast-Learner, Multitasker and the teleporter. If Motherlode and familyfunds would ever happen, it could shake the world's economy.

Oh wow it'd be like being a superhero whose power was being better at playing video games - Steel Bladder, Hardly Hungry, Food Replicator and a case of Red Bull would make for a nice weekend lol.

My Sims don't sparkle anymore with Eye Candy.  I wonder what's up with that.

I noticed that too.  Sparkles stopped with last patch.

They stopped on Ambitions. Now they only show up right after you buy them, or sometimes when you zoom in close to the eye-candy'd sim.

I've got a new one. You know you've played too much Sims when at long last, you reluctantly drag yourself away from the game to use the restroom -- only to discover that you've been holding it all this time while asleep, playing Sims in your dreams.

Me to, but not about sims however. I will inform my doctor about it when sims are popping up in dreamland. Hope that will never happend, because dreamsims can't be saved.

...you run through everything you did on the sims that day-the building, every single click that you made-in your head. And you may not even be asleep. That's me. :)

All of these are absolutely hilarious!  :D I've seen people who look like the sims I've made too-just plain freaky. I will also admit to seeing places and then wanting to build them. But probably the worst of all is when the sims 2 first came out and me and my auntie (she's not that much older than me) stayed on it for hours, writing down everything our sims said. Then we didn't talk in anything but Simlish for ages  ;D

Great topic!  ;D

My internet connection is very slow. I know I've been playing too much Sims when I find myself instinctively pressing the 3 key to flash forward... with the Sims not even loaded yet!!!! ::)
