Barack Who? Metro Puts the “Of” Back in Leader of the Free World

Looks like my old man, Derik McCauley, is indeed an old man. Dad is now employed in the Law Enforcement Career as a snitch, so I had the Joke About Police option pop up. I told dad 21 straight jokes about the police — every single one having to do with cops eating donuts on the job.

That took my total joke count to 99. I had already maxed Charisma, and the Comedian Challenge was the last thing necessary to SuperMax the skill. So, I saved the very last joke for someone who needed to be reminded that he was still very special to me...

C’mon now...everybody say “awwww.”

Just as in real life I have a habit of walking around parks and asking strangers for money. Wearing a trenchcoat and pushing a shopping cart always adds to the effect. My Mini Me is also quite the master at asking for and receiving Campaign Donations...

“Oh, no. You guys were friends? Anyway, please make the check out to Metropolis Man...”

“Thank you for your donation. No, no...I’ll flush the toilet for you.”

After lots of donations I finally pushed that Campaign Fund metric to Outstanding. The next day was it, Man fans. I was a Vice President with my sights firmly set on the highest job in the land. And I got it!

“Yahtzee! I’m Leader of the Free World, baby! Jeeves, bring me my slippers. I now only work 3 days a week which kind of sounds like my real work schedule for Carl. Well, except for the fact that I’d never work that many days a week.”

Metro: “Did someone die in here? How about some props for the new Leader of the Free World? Hello?”

You know what’s so cool about being Leader of the Free World? I now have sole access to the book. Sweet! I’ve heard about this thing, but always had my doubts whether it was real. In five minutes I found out pretty much everything that’s been boggling my mind for decades — was Kennedy’s assassin a lone gunman? What’s inside Area 51? How many licks does it take to reach the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop? Who was hotter on Gilligan’s Island — Ginger, Mary Ann, or Mrs. Howell? And finally, probably my biggest question — would Speed Racer and Trixie eventually have gotten married? It was all there. And for my eyes only. Jumanji!

More requests for handouts. It never ends in Politics...

Metro: “Thank you, Venkat. Remember, every simolean goes towards our city’s children and their future.”
Venkat: “Lol.”

As I was hitting another Central Park patron up for money, my Metrosense went off. Someone was behind me. Metrosense tingling.

That woman in the blue shirt...Oh, My Love!

Metro: “Oh, Angelique, my love (mmwwaa). I’ve been — buuuuuurrrrrrpp! (mmwwaa)— thinking of you every day (mmwwaa).”

And who’s Count Pinkula? Lora Faulk is a toddler that lives in the Faulk house along with Angelique, Brenton (holding Lora, and I’m assuming a sibling), and Algelique’s sister (forgot her name). But, no one else is a vampire. So, I’m guessing one of the billion male vampires that roam Sunset Valley imprenated Angelique’s sister .

That was a nice kiss with Angelique. She was very proud of my achievement. I’ll tell you what...when it comes to kisses, I’m putting the “Free” back in Leader of the Free World. I’m puckering up more than Richard Dawson did back in the day on Family Feud.

“Hello, love (smooch). We’re looking for favorite Dracula expressions. So far we’ve got Blah, Blah up on the board. Favorite Dracula expressions. What do you think, love?”
“Children of the Night?”
“Show me...Children of the Night! (Ding, ding, ding). YES!” (smooch).

This is great stuff Metro. I just love the shot of Crazy in his plaid suit - the game gave him the perfect formal outfit for him! What an adorable pic of him that was, he reminded me of Santa Claus the way he had his head thrown back laughing.

The heavy snow is falling in Bloomington, IL. There's not much to do now but ride out the storm. I'm going to play all day long and get this sucker wrapped up if it kills me.

Metro is Immortalized but Crazy Gives the Dynasty an Error 12 Message

My Adult age-up party came a couple days after I became Leader of the Free World. It was a great time with lots of dancing for everyone...

I had Recipe hop right on cranking out the museum items for my Adult stage. Here’s my individual museum. There’s only space for 3 more items at the end on the right — the Elder ones. Haha...do you like the butt shot photo for Young Adult? That’s not just any butt photo, that’s the butt of a Diplomat Extraordinaire.

Fast forward two and a half weeks...a couple days before my Elder birthday, I decided to pack it in at City Hall. I had left my mark on Sunset Valley and was proud of my accomplishments. One more day of work...

...and then I was back to being a regular citizen...

The end is very, very near. My Elder birthday was next...

And here’s Old Man Metro. Crazy looks as happy as ever while Sound discreetly smells his armpit.

My immortality is just a few museum pieces away. Recipe broke out his paintbrush one last time...

One last day of work from Recipe brought some valuable items to my museum. Here’s an overview shot of all 8 museums plus the Rear Museum with all their items...

Right after Recipe finished my Elder museum pieces, I got a phone call. I couldn’t put a finger on it, but somehow I recognized the voice of this Man...

The Man: “Great job, Metro. That’s a wrap. All you need to do is eat Ambrosia. Then, ask Angelique to marry you. I can move both of you out of Manly Estates, make you guys young again, and you and Angelique can raise your own family. BUT, make absolutely certain NO ONE touches your laptop in the next 2 hours. I’ve modified it to make sure everything I’ve told you will take place. But, that lap top cannot be touched. Are we clear?”
Metro: “I understand.”
Recipe: “Who was that?”

I invited over Angelique who was now an Elder herself. I told her how I was about to be immortalized...

“What you’re about to see may be beyond belief for you. But, it will only get better. After I eat this Ambrosia we need to have a talk. Someone is going to make all of our dreams come true.”

Recipe whipped up one serving of Ambrosia. Only I ate Ambrosia this time — all eyes were on me. This was it...the end of the Man Dynasty...

What a rush! The age drained from my body and I felt like I could do anything. Not much time! I grabbed Angelique’s hand and rushed her out the front door while quickly giving her instructions...

“Go home and pack a suitcase for us. I love you, Angelique. I always have. I want to marry you. Don’t ask me how this is possible, but you and I will be transformed into Young Adults and we’ll be able to raise our own family. Now go...quickly. I need to say goodbye to my family.”

“Wha—?! Noooo!!! Crazy, get off the computer now!!!”

“Stop! We’re fading away. Crazy, get off the computer.”

“Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!”

Crazy: “Okay, guys. The new video card is installed.”
