Future Sim Improvement and New Items Ideas

Hello! This post is about in future what we would like to see in sims. Im sorry if this has been posted before, it probably has so sorry! ( I still say sorry too much).
Here everyone can list what they would want in future sims expansion packs. I know that the people who created sims will be EXTREAMLY unlikely to actully read this post but lets hope they do somehow. But this is just for fun and what we'd all love to see in sims.
I would love to see an expansion pack thats like another holiday one too. But in this one i would want not different countries but places we would visit on vacations often. Like themparks, beaches, cliffsides, farms other stuff like that.

Also i would love to see babies and toddlers interact more. I havent really seen them interact with eachother. Wouldnt it be funny if you left a baby laying around on the floor or something and then a toddler grabbed it and ran outside somewhere. That would be so funny. And maybe for insane toddlers they could walk to the other side of town and just leave the baby somewhere. That would be so funny!

I would love to see prams. Imagine if you could take your baby or toddler for a walk in a pram, one of my other posts menchined them coming fishing and pam said there wasnt a type of transport they could use. So i think if we could just simply grab a pram, put in the baby, maybe put in a toy for it so it would stay happy and leave it while with adult sims do what they want that would be great. Maybe they could sleep in them and relax so we could have some peace and quiet. That would be great.

For kids i think it would be great to be able to interate with adults even more. I dont think you can but hopefully one day our adult sims could give them piggy backs and rides. Also more interactions in the water with other sims, like dunking them if they dont like eachother or splashing eachother.

All this would make sims so more exiting, and if you can already do something please tell me because that would be completly embarrasing for me if you already can.
Post your ideas on furniture, interactions clothes or whatever. I find this subject very interesting.

This is kind of off topic a bit, but where did the piano go?
I was kind of disappointed when they changed the music skill to guitar.

And why is it then when you work in the symphonic branch of the music career that you need 10 guitar skill points? It should be piano.

And they should make it so the easel can be placed in your inventory. Instead of memorizing a scenery and painting it at home. Or at least add a little easel that is accessible when on other lots.

Oh, and I bought the base game, and World Adventures for 50$ each without tax. You'd figure the expansion would be less?

I want to see different music objects again, having only the guitar is kind of lame..
I also want seasons (which should have been included with the base game.) Although knowing EA they will release the same Seasons expansion from the Sims 2 only it will include a few extra stuff, and calling it "Holiday Fun," so they can rake out more cash from people....

Same! I would love to see more music objects. I own the Sims 1 and it has a piano which I love. You can buy different types of pianos too. I think they should bring out Sims 3 Music expansion pack, with heaps of new instruments and maybe a few made up ones. All adding different careers, lifetime wishes and moodlets. This would make the game much more exciting!

I want more musical instruments for my Sims to play!  I want my Sim bands back! 

I don't know if it's just the traits I'm picking, but my Sims are kinda dull....it seems like the Sims interacted more in TS2, well in a more dramatic way.  I never see anyone fighting, no jealousy it's like it's the Stepford Wives!     Did they all get lobotomies or something?

Oh yeah, I also would like a stroller for the kids, this leaving them on the ground is a bit much..

Yeah a stroller or pram would be really good. If this was real life imagine if you left a baby on the ground. It would eat worms and sand and grass and snails and spiders and turkeys. Then you'd have a fat baby

I would like to see toddlers be able to interact with each other.  I might have already said that, though.  I would also like for the voices of my Sims' kids to be different.  I get to choose the voice of the original Sims, but when they have kids, their voices are all the same.  As is most of the town's voices.  I get bored hearing those same voices all the time.  They could make them random and different.

Well Pam then TS2 would have driven you crazy...only 2 voices for either male/female Sim and for the female I only liked one voice the other one got on my nerves so I rarely used it  .  I never created Children in CAS so I don't remember if you could pick the voices for them.  I agree that there should be more interactions with the children, but we are only one EP into this game...so I guess we have a long way to go before we get everything we want.

I didn't even notice their voices were the same. I don;t usually have the sound on because sound is weird. Actually, I love sound. I like my eyes   They are funny and weird. Wow, I have no idea what to write so I'm just writing completely random stuff.

I once thought that a vacuum cleaner would be fun.  It could give a +5 or +10 "Clean Room" bonus, then I thought 'I hate using the vacuum, why would I want my Sims to do it?'  So now I'm not sure

Giggles, HelenP quite understandable...I don't care for vacuuming either, but if they gave my Sim a "roomba vac" ehh...well then maybe.  Although, as I recall TS2 did have that robot vac you could make to suck up any messes on the floor!    Maybe they will give us our Robots again!

LOL, yes PJSim those little buggers  had that unfortunate malfunction... .  Which certainly made you wonder if they were worth the bother of having them at all!

Be fun to have a cheap vacum that can randomly explode if you leave it on or something... I really want more traits  Ive used them all 2357283057302857 times!

I personally think there should be more career options. Or more branching opportunities for the careers. And of course more interactions with the sims.

One thing about Sims 3 that really bugs me is how the sims don't seem to go anywhere together. If your sim is out somewhere and they invite another sim over, they take off running home and the other sim has to run along behind them somewhere. It's stupid! If a sim invites someone over, can't they at least give them a ride or walk WITH them?

I want more places to travel. So far, this World Adventures has been my FAVORITE expansion pack of all time! I remember back in Sims 1 when they came out with "Vacation" and it wasn't very good. I'm really enjoying WA a lot because there's so much to do.

I agree Robin, it's such a shame how they just dump the babies down anywhere - very unrealistic! In a game where it is getting more and more realistic every time, you think they could at least do something about this!! lol

I thought of another improvement because this really bugs me. I wish that when sims are in love or married or dating, (whatever) that they could walk down the street or wherever they go, holding hands. Most of the time, they don't even walk together. You have to make one go somewhere and then the other. You can make them go out together....but that's about it. When they dine together, they don't even sit at the same table! It's just so stupid. I think if Sims are together, that they should automatically eat at the same table and be able to "be together" when they are doing things.

I really wish they'd give us a way to stop getting the newspaper.  None of my sims read it, and since it can't be deleted in buy mode, my sims have to waste time disposing of the thing every day.  Not a big job, but you know how fast time passes in Simland, I hate wasting any of it.

It already exists. Pick up the phone and call for Services > Stop Newspaper
