A water bed which can have fish placed in it for a moodlet bonus while you sleep. Yea I know awe-some!!! ;D

You could go one step further. Remember Disco Stu from The Simpsons? Get your Sims a pair of his platform shoes and add your own fish!

Haha, I remember him. The Simpsons is really cool. And I love the series. When a saxophone and skateboard will be added to the game I can finally remake the Simpsons intro in the Sims 3.

I'm going to combine my single desire and Carl's big wish into one revolutionary idea: a hot tub in the shape of an electric guitar.

Solid gold.

I'm going to start calling y'all The Elvises!  ;D

Hm, the swimming Elvises.  Haha.  That was a good one Pam.

Here's what I think EA are going to release as future expansion packs:

  • A nightlife/hot date combined expansion pack. So you get more sims wandering about at night time. And a shop-style bar where you will have a sim serving drink (like buying food in WA). Also more romantic interactions. Plus I think they would also combine this with more musical instruments.
  • An outdoors expansion pack. So it would have pets and seasons, expanded gardening - so maybe farms I'm thinking. Plus more animals in it than just the cats/dogs and non-interactive birds, etc. I really really hope they do this one as I loved unleashed and want pets back.

To me it seems like EA are combining all the best things out of sims1 and 2, however doing it in a different order and way. So WA was vacations and holiday however they added a sims3 twist with all the tomb raiding, etc.

What I would also like to see is a Magic expansion pack (I loved that one). I especially like the spells and baking part of it. A bit like nectar, you mixed a few things together and see what comes out. So far sims3 only has transifguration and nectar as a bit of an unknown lets-see-what-we-get-if-I-do this interaction.

Some personal peeves with sims3 - the action queue! I can't stand it when one of my sims starts an action that I wanted them to do, but you can't queue anything up afterwards as that action will be deleted. Also would love to be able to change the queue order.
The pathing issues still irritate me, especially when there is tons of room for them to move around. I find this happens especially in the toddlers room when they leave their toys around. I'm like, what are you doing, there's tons of room to walk around that rabbit!

See I had exams when  Makin' Magic came out so I never really got into that properly; and I never bought the Apartment Life EP for TS2 so I've never played as the witches from that. If they are going to do a greatest hits version of the EPs from previous games, then I hope they won't leave that 'til last because it really would be something shiny and new to me.

And I agree with the pathing issues. One of my Sims threw a tantrum because they thought a xylophone was blocking the way to the crib so they put my poor, tired, grumpy toddler down on the floor. Which I didn't think was very nice. I had to go into build mode to lengthen the room so my Sim would stop having a tantrum.

Those xylophones and pegboxes get bugged sometimes, too.  Many times my toddler can't get to it and I have to delete it and buy another one.

Yet the weird thing is, once I had it in front of the crib and forgot I put it there (the xylophone) and my Sim mom just stepped over it and put the child in the crib, (yes it was directly in front of the crib).

Maybe it just doesn't matter  that the xylophone lies there. As long as your sim can get in the 'space' of the crib to reach it. Although I was expecting the xylophone would block him, no matter that it is just a small atribute.

I am "elderly".  I do NOT walk all slumped over and hobble around.  I do NOT wear hideous clothes day or night.  I want the old folks to be more like real old folks that are not bedridden or truly sick and aged.  Age progress them if you must but for heavens sake let's do it with a bit of class!  I want my senior citizens to be just like other people since, for the most part, they are.

I'd like to see day care centers and nursing homes that are interactive.

Yes on all the goodies for the kiddies.

Yes on all the music stuff.  I am not sure about singing Sims since mine all have learned the different songs from WA and drive me bonkers singing all the time.  Some sound ok but some can't carry a tune in a bucket!  My kid got all cracked up because she caught me whistling one of the Shang SimLa songs.  She said my off key rendition of "Bad Romance" is much better. lol

And what's with the ginormous trees?  I want more trees, shrubs, flowers and landscaping stuff.

I want curtains!  Ones that actually fit the windows.

Too tired to think of more.  G'night all.
What?  Grannies can't play games?

A very fair point! The selection of clothes for the Elder Sims (both male and female) is hideous! It's only through customising the patterns and colours that I can make the clothes bearable.

No kidding!  Geez, I still wear jeans and tee shirt so why can our elders in Sims?  Old does not equal no taste or ugly.  I think we should be allowed to keep our adult clothes if we want with maybe some "old folks" clothes as additional choices.

Oh, new wish.  I want the clothes that you automatically get be somewhat reasonable.  When my teen aged to young adult she came up wearing a bun for her long hair, a winter coat and swim flippers!  I mean, REALLY?  What ever where they thinking?  Oh, and how about adorable babies wearing really cute little dresses coming aged with hideous coats, skirts and hiking boots?  Anyone know any kid who would wear those deliberately when not playing?

I agree about the awful clothes when they age up.  The winter coat and swim flippers made me laugh!  I imagine it's on a completely random rotation

Now I know this might not happen, but what would you want in the game. Personally I would want a spell called "pantalones giganticus" that will make your pants too big. Aw, maybe thats just my twisted, sim killing mind coming in but i'm sure that would be awsome. Or perhaps a gnome or two running around your yard and having a Mysterous Mr. Gnome around your yard. Comment here!

Master Siwel,

P.S. I really want a child being able to learn magic so I can have an ashley character. Then Madusa would be able to rock my socks into stone!

I'd definitely want statues to come to life, and mystical animals.

Hmm...If I was to choose, I'd definetly want animals, and a TON of them- I would want a interactive zoo, more animals in all the WA locations (Could you imagine tigers and pandas in China alone? And being tree'ed by either?), livestock and farm pets (like goats and horses and cows, even, so you could make your own cheese and meat in a 'practical' way), and, of course, pets. I'd definetly like to add ferrets to the list of pets, they're very adorable and since I could never have one in life, I'd like one in a game. I read the dinosaur idea, and I got a even better idea- A zoo keeper job, making zoo exhibits, and buying and/or catching animals for display. You could make a Jurassic park, and even a drive through zoo, or a petting zoo, like this cool one they have in Bandon- It's got deer and goats and peacocks and llamas to pet and exotic animals like capibara and tigers on exhibit. They also have baby animal petting, where you can pet a baby bear, or tiger or lion cub, or whatever baby animal they currently have. I know they can't do all of that, but at least give us a variety of pets and a zoo keeping position- And new traits, animal lover and animal hater(Or cat/dog lover and hater). It also would be nice to select a favorite animal, like the zoo guests do in zoo tycoon...Holy crud I don't shut up, huh?

Well there I was making my underground music lounge with windows backing to the pool (thank you moveobjects on) and I was shocked, SHOCKED, to discover that there was no piano.  No piano??  I don't know about everyone else, but when I was little, it was piano lessons that were available to me, not guitar hero classes.  What's worse, two expansions and stuff packs in and we still don't have a guitar shaped hot tub!  Okay, I can cope, just use some of the stage elevation... wait no can't do that.  Okay not a problem if I put a half wall here until... aargh.  Perhaps this would just be better if "bulldoze lot" were replaced with "make lot explode" since that would be cathartic for us builders that simply don't have the wonderful features we've come to love through the other versions of the game.

Also, I'd love for my sims to go to the beach and be able to swim there.  It creates the potential for another death if they do it with no lifeguard on duty (swept out to sea).  Then they'd haunt the beach and OMG that would be awesome.

I miss the features of Open for Business and Hot Date where you could build/design restaurants for your sims to eat at.  The table interactions were so wonderful, and a photography sim could make some wonderful memories for the couple by snapping a few photos (or a scandal for the gossips in town if the "lovers" were in relationships with other sims).

Also I'd like to see family inventory available for use on owned venues so that museum in town could be SO much cooler with an egyptian wing with a real sarcophagus of kings (for sims to discreetly woohoo in public).

And finally, I'd like to be able to expand an existing lot.  I know we can simply move a house onto a bigger lot, but it centers the house on the new lot and the front yard ends up as long as a football field!  Someone managed to make CC that could do it for TS2, so I can't imagine it would be too difficult.

Sorry for the long post.  I do want alot, I'm told I'm needy  :D

I think they need more types of hair I mean yeah they bring more out with every expansions but I am so tired of being stuck with only one good hair for girls and the same for boys half my neighborhood all look the same because of the limited amount of hair.

Maybe this is just me...
But I would like a general statistics page at the beginning of the game.

You've had this many Sims... # male, # female, #child, # age groups.
You've had this many sims to China, Egypt, and France and complete these dungeons.
# sims to take whatever professions/jobs.
How much money have my sims made/spent/donated/stolen?

Bring back the world in which sims live in the same world, not just same world, but same zones and whatnot...I miss running into my other sims I have been playing while playing one of my sims.

My problem is similar to that, Belle. I don't like some of the styles, but what's worse is that there's nearly no variance on the good ones. I wish that Hair styles were cheaper on the exchange.

I've said this before and I'll say it again, ONE more time.  If modders can create fabulous eyes, lips, hair etc. why doesn't EA get a clue and do the same.  I refuse to download free cc when I know it can mess up my game,PLUS I can't use it here, so we are all stuck with ugly hair, boring eyes and outrageous lips.  My Sims usually wind up looking pretty much the same even using the sliders etc in CAS.  Even with the different hair colors and ways to affect it, it still comes out looking flat.  I hate to spend the money at the EA store for items like hair but I would gladly do it, and spend more than I already am, just to have some of the gorgeous hair and facial features I want for my Simmies.

Yes, I was a bit disapointed about that to. Maybe the ability to make you own hairstyles (as a job ingame or something) would made this better.

I know a lot of people complain about the ingame hair, eyes, lips, etc.  But to me, I think the ones available to us are just fine.  EA does a good job of keeping up with current hairstyles, too.  I've noticed them even over just this past year since the game has been released.  Plus, they have the more "themed" hairstyles like from the 50s to go with themed clothes.  Personally, I don't care for the third party CC hair that I see.  It's just so...  big.  And shiny.  I don't know about the rest of you, but nobody I know has hair like that.  And I think their eyes are very pretty, especially when I custom color them.  So, I'm just saying that some of us are perfectly happy with what EA provides.  :)
