My finish times are:
Home Week 2 Day 1 03:40 = 10300 minutes
China 9 days and 14:20 = 13820 minutes
giving a total of 24120 ( I think)

My practice was a dismal failure so I was quite impressed with me this time. Good challenge - thanks

No, mine shows up quickly in town too, I think I was just noticing the time I lost and it took me an in game hour to decide to travel. Probably how long I cussed at that Sim who ran off on me in the middle of the night.

Sorry if this question has been asked before, but I couldn't find it here. I see if my sim travel and I arrived at my destination then its already day one, do the day count on the sore or not!!!!

Treat the first day of any vacation as if you began your vacations at midnight. In other words, when you arrive at China, you've already logged in 8 hours.

Paisley was crowned a double grand master on her 9th day of vacation, at 6:21 pm; she left her home on Week 1, Day 6 2:24 am to achieve this victory. I get a total of:

13*1440 + 18*60 +21 + 2*60 +24 = 19965 minutes.

Finished!

I had a lot of buggy problems with this one. Nothing to drastic (I won't share details in case it gives something away) and I was able to find ways to work around them, but it ended up adding a good bit to my time. Still though, it was a good challenge! I've never tried to make grand master before.

My vacation time was 3 full days, 6 full days, and my final vacation ended on day 3 at 3:00pm.

I believe that is 16,740

My home time ended week 1, day 6 at 3:57pm.

I believe that is 8,160
Total: 24,900

But I should warn you that I'm absolutely awful at math so you might want to check those.

I did and you were close!

The only thing is you gave yourself a full 60 minutes for that last hour in town instead of 57 minutes. So, I shaved 3 minutes off of your total! Go out and buy a lottery ticket 'cause it's your lucky day.

I'm done! I'm done! Just finished and now I can install my new Late Night!

China: 3 days, 6 days, ended on Day 1, 3:08 p.m.
So 9(1440) = 12,960, 15(60) + 8 = 908, so vacation total = 13,868 minutes.

Home time: Week 1, Day 4, 10:59 p.m.
So, 3 whole days X 1440 = 4320, then (22 hours X 60) + 59 minutes = 1,379, and 4320 + 1379 = 5699.

Total time = 13,868 + 5,699 = 19,567.

Town Time: Week 2 Day 2 7:18pm (10080+1440+1140+18=12678)
Vacation Time: Day 10 2:28pm (10080+4320+840=15240)
Total Time: (12678+15240=27918)

Please check my maths I'm sure I did it wrong.

Sorry Metro...I refigured the numbers a second time and did it by hand instead of simply entering it into the calculator. You are right it's 17,697. Not sure how I entered it wrong the first time through!

Vacation time: Day 4 23:27

Town time = (1440x3) + (19 x 60) + 45 = 5505
or (1440x4) - ((4x60) + 15)

Vacation time: (1440x3) + (23x60) + 27 = 5727
or (1440x4) - 33

Total time: 5505 + 5727 = 11207

It was fun and I learned a lot. I've never played with just one Sim before. I learned things I never would have noticed by playing with an 8-person household.

I've checked the maths - the calculation is correct for town and vacation, it's just your addition on the total, as 5,505 + 5,727 = 11,232.
