Hello there! *waves*

I'm new to the forum, and I thought this would be an appropriate place for my first ever post. I've been simming since the year 2000, but my addiction has recently developed to the point that I need a forum to vent my simming frustrations. This forum seemed like a wonderfully informative place to start.

Hi I am joantraveler i am new here hope i can find lots of friends here..I reall love to play sims city because it serves us a training on how to build a family, you will know how to take care of your family especially your newly born child...lol :D...i really love it and at the same time enjoying it...

Hello everyone! Played other sims games but never had my own till now. Glad to find all this great information, helped me out tremendously. I may get into some challenges later but I love looking at everybody's houses on the building thread. After reading through a lot of the threads I've got to say it's almost like a little town in the sims here on the forum. All the traits seem to be nicely represented, thankfully haven't seen any kleptos or evils posting. Can't wait to join the family.

Hi simmers! I've joined this magnificent website way back 3 months ago but started posting just recently! I'm a bit neurotic but friendly and curious :) I've first experienced this game that is absolute favorite of mine in 2005 for the first time. It was when The Sims 2: University was released and The Sims 2 was just being developed. I've played it and ALL of its expansion packs --- no lyin'! Played University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Apartment Life, Bon Voyage, and Freetime plus added some great new items to the game through the 9 stuff packs!  :D Once I even started playing The Sims: Makin' Magic and Superstar but I just stopped because I understood The Sims 2 was way better. But it all changed with The Sims 3 in May/June 2009! I even had to buy a new laptop for it to work! Then I waited, waited, waited, waited and finally got WA, AMB, HELS, FLS all in 1 this year in September! I am so excited with WA and AMB! I added some mods and my saved game got destroyed  :-\  :'( Then I removed them all and started a fresh new game and everything works fine! My simmie's name is Katy Roberts, she maxed out all skills except Photography (lvl 5), Fishing (lvl 0 as of now) and Writing (lvl 0 as of now, no time for this yet!). Also she got the opportunity to invent a SimBot and believe me it was worth it! The SimBot is a great maid and repairman! I would like to get a Mummy now and make her a Vampire after my LN is finally installed! Sorry for such a long post, I hope everything is alright with you and your simmies! Happy simming! SIMS FOREVER!  ;)

Hi! My name is Jhana. I'm 16 years old. I'm from Jamaica and I first got introduced to The Sims by a friend. I borrowed her game having no previous knowledge about it, and I was just curious to see what it was all about. That was the Sims 2. Then I fell in love! lol I became so obsessed, and then she started to get disgruntled because I was borrowing her game so much!  Well, my mother, being the saint that she is, noticed my fascination and bought the Sims 2 Double Deluxe for me! I was like OMG!!!  lol Well, I played Sims 2 happily for a good while, till I heard about the Sims 3! I waited and waited... I was excited when they said it was going to be released in February, and was disappointed when they pushed it back to June.   Well, the months passed... and FINALLY! I waited at my computer watching the countdown on snootysims.com and then it came out! Bear in mind that I had no idea how I was going to get the game, because it takes a good little while for games to get here... but needless to say, I was still very excited! About a week later my sister told me one of her co-workers was going to America and I asked her to ask them to get it for me! And Guess what.... they did!!  Well, this is where the bad news begins.  Because my mother's computer isn't enough to play the sims 3 except on low graphics settings.  I basically gave up hope, but I'm saving towards a new laptop or just upgrading the RAM on my moms computer because that's basically all it needs. But I'm okay, because I really enjoy reading about the sims and other people's Stories! And as soon as I sort everything out, hopefully tomorrow, I will Play the Sims 3 like it's never been played before!  So watch out Carl and Pam! Because here I come!  And Happy Simming to everyone!!  ;D



Edit: That's me and my adorable nephew. :) I just thought the pic was cute. lol

Hello there. I've posted once or twice here before months ago, just haven't got my nerves to really post -- something odd just hold me from posting.

Call me Oath, and no, I'm not really a big fan of bears. Just some of my online friends called my name with bear in the back. A quick info about me : I got the Loner trait, I love stories -- both reading and writing, I'm a girl, and I love The Sims!
I first know about Sims from my sister, and have (at least) played all three Sims, but The Sims 3 was so awesome, I just love all it's features! Well, with the exception of the "ugly" preset faces. I'm not so good at creating Sims.

Well then, I hope I can fit this forum's environtment. I really do hope to make friends and have fun here.
(Did I typo-ed with the environtment?)
