It is another way for EA for milk money out of this franchise.
It shouldn't take long since they can build on existing ideas and improve it.
Not much of an effort than making it out from scratch.

I suppose money is the driving force, but isn't that just a RL reality?

Hopefully they will add some of our favorite things to the game, as the EP's are released.

But in the meantime, did everyone see the New Free Items in the EA store. It's called "Harvest Bounty" and has six decorative items (the mouse in the pumpkin is really cute). Here's the link if you missed it:

I saw the "new" free stuff too igzigpuff.

It's great that the store is giving out some free stuff...much better than the sims 2.

Can't wait for WA! A lot of ppl are disappointed but what the hey, I'm sure they'll have some really great ideas in the future. This ep almost seems like an entirely new game with all the stuff that's coming with it.

I'm definitely an EA ep and sp junkie.

If they're sellin it, I'm buyin it.

Bshag I agree, can't wait for WA...the screen shots and video clips look great, I'm especially excited to see the fireworks!

I bought ever EP and SP for TS2, so I'm sure I'll do the same for TS3.

Hi, my name is tom789. I found this forum by typing in 'sims 3 careers help' on google. Lol. Then when I entered the site, I was like OMG! That is perfect! I found everything I had to know there and I got better at playing the game, but I was still using the stupid cheats (I got used to it). But I won't use them anymore. It makes the game less addicting, lol. But am happy that I entered this forum because I can ask anyone any question and I know that I won't be ignored like on other forums. The guide and the forum was a great idea Carl! I really enjoyed reading the guide (it was easy to understand). Oh, and also thanks to PAM for correcting my mistakes on forum. Lol.

Hullo!

Caliban is not my real name (probably a good decision on my parent's part..) but it works well enough.

I've played all 3 iterations of the Sims, I think I enjoy building the houses most, but with Sims3 having fun just playing the game. I really like the new promotion system over the old "maintain 14 billion friendships" model.

I think I found the site looking for info on gardening or collecting, and stayed because of all the other information.

Grad student, 2 cats, full time job... not sure how active a poster I'll be, but enjoying lurking for the moment ^_^

My username comes from creator (as you might have guessed), since I'm the 'creator' in the sims game I thought It would be funny.

In other games friends call me "the Kreathyr of chaos", makes other people question their spelling abilities

I am saltypaws and so far this site has really been great, my sister, mom and I have been playing sims since the game came out. I remember when I first got the sims1, installing and uninstalling because we hit english and then we couldnt understand a word the sims said, LOL....duh, but of course, that was a while back, I am sure we were not the only ones that did that. Looking forward to hearing other stories on here, keep up the good work, this site was needed.

Hi All,

New here, but not to the game. IRL I work for the Gov as a Financial Analyst so it was EXTRMELY helpful last month (end of year activity) to be able to come home, create an evil Sim and wreck havoc!!

I like Sims 3 so far, nice upgrades. I do like being able to color match curtains and bed covers etc. Tool comes in very handy because the curtain choices seems limited to me. Though, I bought the most expensive couch and my Sim walked over to it and cried. Haven't tried changing it to his favorite color yet. Anyone know if that would boost his mood?

One of my little peeves so far is that one of my Sims just had a baby. She wanted to hire a babysitter, so I fulfilled the wish. Had her take a shower so she could go out, and the babysitter all of a sudden pops up with "I have someplace to be" and then bolts taking my $75!! I think she was there an hour, hour and a 1/2 at the most!!

I found myself screaming at the computer -"well, why did you take the job then you idiot???!!!"

Would be a nice feature if EA would add in the next release where we can pick the babysitter. If they give us a list of choices, and we could pick one. Last one that showed up did nothing but watch TV and let my baby sim practically starve! GEEZ!
