Hello, fellow Simmers.
I've been in love with this game series since the original. In fact, I still have the first game plus add-ons Livin' Large, House Party, Hot Date, and Unleashed sitting on the bookshelf in their original packaging. I also purchased some of the other tools released way back when - like Career Creator, and made a lot of my own custom content for the game.
In December of 2010, I (finally) purchased a console (PS3), and TS3 was one of the first games I picked up for it. Even though I truly enjoyed playing the game on the PS3, I eventually grew tired of its limitations, and wanted to play the PC version, which I bought and installed just last December. Over time, I will likely start using the expansion packs and perhaps purchase some other items from the EA store - but for now, I'm playing my very first challenge (Immortal Dynasty) with only the base game installed.
Carl's Guide and this forum has been my go-to since I first purchased TS3 for the console. I only recently registered, and am enjoying interacting with you all.
I am very grateful for this forum and the excellent moderation provided here. This is a comfortable, invaluable, noise-free community thanks to you.
