All I can say is WOW - those girls grew up beautifully!  Maybe it's good their dad isn't around...I can see him standing in the door with a shotgun to keep all the boys away from his daughters.   ;)

Thank you.  It is scary how quickly my sims are growing up and old though.

Grandma Daisy was helping Dandelion with her homework when her second death came along.  No Deathflower this time to save her.

This is my first sim's death of a sim I created.  I thought it would be harder than it was.  I think I was more upset when she aged into an adult than when she died.

Poor Daisy, begged to be let stay.  Grimmy was unmoved. He coolly wandered over to admire their fish tank after harvesting her soul.

Everyone was very sad to lose Daisy.  To add insult to injury, the hateful burglar turned up. He showed up the night Tyron died too.  Luckily Daphne has no trouble trouncing him.

Speaking of Tyron, he made one of his rare appearances and offered some comfort to Dahlia.

He and Daisy now share a spot in the garden together. Daisy got the bigger headstone.

It took Daisy three days to start haunting.

I wondered what would happen if Daisy and Tyron ran into each other.  They finally did but their reaction to each other was not what I expected.  I had forgotten about Tyron having the cowardly trait.

And a silly shot of Daphne taking her lunch to work.

Richdre!  Great to see you.  I haven't thrown it away, don't worry.  :D  I am just trying the game without mods at the moment because this started off as an immortal challenge (but I failed).  I didn't think I could ever do it but I have and the sky hasn't fallen in.   ;D

So good to see you and Simmer and that you are both well Figwit!  Glad to see what your sims are up to again.  I keep telling myself I'm going to play a game without cheating for once, and that resolve fails so quickly.  I can't imagine trying to play with no mods AND on normal lifespan, much less letting my sims age up and DIE.  :)

When the time comes that I actually decide to follow through on not playing without mods, I'll probably need a mod to STOP me from cheating  :D

You better not throw it away after all of the sweat I put into it.  ;D  I see that Fire found you too. You can run but you can't hide. I mostly play without cheats. I have made a bunch of mods that alters obsessive behavior but I don't consider that cheating. I pulled all of Twallan's mods a long time ago.  Anyway it's really good to be in touch with you again. I have two new worlds uploaded and another one that I am testing if you ever need a new world.

Hey richdre, I've already downloaded Santa Teresa - it's beautiful!

Oh and A. Drake, yes - believe it or not - cowardly ghosts faint when they see other ghosts.  ;D  I also had a cowardly paparazzi who happened to be on the lot when another paparazzi died and he kept fainting I don't know how many times in a row.  It was a riot!

Thanks all :)

Richdre, no way will I throw it away. Not too many people have their own personal mod made just for them. I will treasure it forever. :D  I already have your new worlds and they look very nice. I haven't played them yet but I had a quick wander around.  I always love your worlds.

*Waves to Fire*.  I welcomed you in the welcome thread. We will convince you yet to attempt a challenge and do without your mods. I am not missing them though I didn't think I could ever cope at first. I am just so happy with how well my game runs now. One day I might even give up my cc though I am not making any promises :)

A Drake, as SQ said, cowardly ghosts faint at the sight of other ghosts. There are so many funny little touches in the Sims game.  I am constantly amazed at some of the quirky but endearing things EA thought to include.  I guess it is what makes our game so real for us.

**waves back to Figwit, and gives big hug** I've made a good start, I've removed more then half of them and I'm still going through them to see what else I can possibly live without; course I haven't played the game yet so that will be a large test.

I've only been here today and I've already learned something new- I also did not know ghosts would faint at the site of others whatever their traits.  :D

Zola.  ;D So nice to see you over here.  They are just an ordinary legacy family now. I am not even attempting to make anyone immortal - which basically means I still haven't managed to achieve anything.  :D

I am very fussy with who my sims pair up with but the pickings are quite lean in Riverview.  Even now, when I am quite a bit ahead of this story, I am still having trouble finding sim males that are not vampires or grossly overweight. I am sure some gorgeous guys are hiding out somewhere but they know I will work them to death so are avoiding me.

So back to the Edens.  My lovely girls, Dahlia and Daphne aged to elder.

They still look pretty good for old chicks.

Dahlia

and Daphne

I think they finally look a little different.  Dahlia is a scientist and earns heaps more money than Daphne who is in the military.

Dahlia still carries a torch for Louis.  By the way, his last name is Eden so some sort of marriage happened even if it is no longer acknowledged. I have tried to get Dahlia to ask Louis to move in with her or go steady or something but no options ever come up.

I sent Dahlia to call on him at the tattoo parlour.  Funny the people you see there.

That little girl better not complain too loudly about being hungry with him around.

Even Grimmy needs a makeover too.  Do not adjust your picture. This very dark gentleman is the Grim Reaper looking rather spiffy I might add.

And the cousins grow up too.
Sorry, the eyes again.

Do you think these girls are telling me they might like to get married?

Very pretty but not practical for day wear.

Dandelion

and Daffodil

Wow Figwit, the cousins are gorgeous!  That is so funny about the Grim Reaper - he actually got a makeover while you were there?   :o

Wonderful story Figwit, this looks like so much fun.  I'm afraid I might fail miserably at keeping my sims alive.  This may be something I try my hand at though when I've to courage to do so.  Can't wait to see what happens to your legacy!

Honeybear  ;D Great to see you.  I hope you will stick around and sample some of the goodies here.  Thank you for your lovely comments.

SQ, yes, he got the makeover while I was there. I didn't see it happen because I was concentrating on Dahlia and Louis but then I saw the coal black sim and had to zoom in.  I thought I had a missing skin file or something but then realized it was him.  I don't think he is the real reaper though but one of his clones.  One of my sims actually has Grimmy as a workmate.  I hope it is this one and not another.  My town being take over by tubby vampires is one thing but I don't want Grim Reapers proliferating as well. ;D

Great story, Figwit.  You seem to know a bunch of other Simmers.  Where from?  EA Forum?  I deserted it eons ago when I found this one.  Too much hate there.  All your Sims are lovely.  What surprises me is even the NPC type townies are prettier, like Louis for instance.
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!

That is hilarious, Figwit!  ;D  Grim Reapers reproducing!  If only they could use 'mine' from S2, they would be beautiful.  That one I'd be scared of what his spawn would look like!  :o

The cousins had better be patient or they will end up with Mr. Wrong instead of Right.

Thank you all.

Joria, it does look like we are taking over but these are just my wonderful buddies from a site I used to belong to (not EA).  I'm hoping they will stick around a bit and sample some of the fantastic goodies here.

I hope you don't mind if I don't tell you the name but there is adult content there so probably best not to mention it. ;)

Thank you Zola.  I don't think I would like my sims to breed with that Grim Reaper. Actually I think I read somewhere here that you no longer can anyway.  I am sure he wouldn't produce the beautiful babies you got in TS2.

I can't believe my game is up to week 20 and still running strongly.

A lot happened in two of my play nights but a couple of sim weeks I guess. I always lose track of time.

Dandelion met a man. He seemed a bit of a grumpy type but he was gentle as a mouse with her.  This is William.  I decided he could be her husband.

They married without fuss.

And soon Dandelion was changing shape.

Sadly for Dahlia, Louis died.  He was the husband who wasn't quite there. ;D  She was very sad.

Soon enough, Dandelion gave birth to a little boy flower - Thorn.  Honestly, I couldn't give him a flower name and I didn't think the Bold and the Beautiful would mind.

I thought Dahlia could ease her sorrow taking care of her grandchild but in fact it was great aunt Daphne who was the best.  She doted on Thorn.  William, too, wasn't too bad. Dandelion and Daffodil would much rather paint or fish.

I can't remember this guy's name but he has been a long-time family friend. He may even have been a friend of Daisy's.  Anyway the reason I took his pic is the plasma drink he is enjoying has been a family heirloom ever since Tyron joined the household way back when.  It was Tyron's dowry.  ;D  He left it to Daisy when he died so I put it on the kitchen bench and there it has sat.  I'm glad it was finally useful.

I love the name Thorn, Figwit!  The next boy will have to be Briar.   ;D  I'm glad Dandelion got her man - and he actually moved in!  That's interesting about the plasma juice - apparently it doesn't spoil when left out, I would never have realized that.

Wonderful story and yes Thorn is perfect.  To me that is still in the flower category but very manly.  Can't wait for more!
