I read a comment on deviantART saying "daaawww", and I kind just started using it.

In English, "naw" is sort of a slang/casual word for "no."  For example:  "Do you want to come with us?"  "Naw, I'll stay home."  It could possibly be mostly in the southern U.S. that it's used like that.  I hadn't seen "dawww" until just the last few weeks when I noticed Simstar saying it.  Now I've noticed a couple of others on the Forum who say it.
Oh okay. I've never heard 'naw' used that way in Australia, but I think I've heard it in movies where the American's have really strong southern accents :D
In Australia, if you said naw (at least in Victoria), most people would think you mean "aww".

Haha!  It must be a southern U.S. thing then.  I've lived in Texas almost all my life, so it's very common for me to hear and use it.

Now when I see/hear someone say 'nawww', I'm going to think of someone with a southern American accent saying 'no' :D

I think stuff like that spreads from one to another.  I too use to use the word "naw".  My family were hillbillies to the core.  Just like "woot".  Quite a while back, I saw one person use it and now quite a few are using it. :)

The days following Agnes death was kind of a blur and so much has happened.  I lost a wife and gained a fiance' and a baby boy.  Too much too soon.  Jessica took her moms death pretty hard and has made it her mission to help Monica take care of little Joslin.

In the mean time, Jessica had her adult birthday and she is quite lovely, us Redhouse men don't make ugly babies, ya know.

Agnes has already made a few appearances.  I have seen her out by our favorite place many times.

She seems restless and she haunts things, like the swingset, I don't think she ever liked that thing anyway.

Jolina is quite the charmer and very smart, she plays chess whenever she is done with homework and that is where you will find her at any given time.

You can imagine my surprise when I woke up one morning to someone napping in my bed.

She stayed around for quite some time that day and I saw her in the garden and had to talk to her and hold her, even if it was for the last time.

Agnes was an amazing woman and despite her death, she still is. She told me to follow my heart and told me, she knew towards the end she was not what I had wanted her to be.  She didn't blame me for seeking another woman, but she understood and just wants me to be happy.  With that she vanished and I have not seen her since.

Soon it was time for Joslin's birthday and what an amazing child she is and gorgeous.  She looks just like her mother.

She has already mastered the writing skill in no time, it is awesome to watch her work.  Monica has been behaving for now and I feel very guilty in the thoughts that I had just a few weeks ago, but this is my daughter and no matter what, I will try to except her the way she is.  I just hope the new Monica will last.  I kinda like her around now.

Congrats on the lovely girls!  I hope Joslin only inherited Monica's looks.

Just like "woot".  Quite a while back, I saw one person use it and now quite a few are using it. :)

Woot is gamer slang expressing happiness or excitement and is really common in MMO games.  I've been playing World of Warcraft for years so I use woot alot (I watch myself pretty carefully because I've accidentally used it at work.   :-[ )

I agree - they look like they could be sisters, not just cousins.

Happy birthday girls! I detect some "sibling" rivalry in the future between younger super-Sim Joslin and older Jolina.

I did take a short video of Agnes haunting the bench in back.  They nailed the sound effects on that. :)

I knew Agnes was too awesome to hold it against him, she's a class act in every story.

Wow, Jessica looks great and Joslin is such a little cutie!

I think so, too, Simstar.  I felt a little kinder towards her when Joslin was born, though.

Finally red the entire story, Salty.  Pun intended.  Loving it, except for the vampire part.  Although you do make the nooboo vamp very adorable.

It seems like the days have just really dragged on since Agnes death.  We all have gone about our daily lives, watching the children grow and being a family.  Monica seemed more restless than usual, but maybe that is how this vampire thing works.  She still has her times when the evil comes out, but she is totally devoted to Joslin, or so it seemed.  I finally decided to invite Amanda over and I told her to bring Chad, I think that was probably kind of a given that she would bring him with her.
When she arrived, I finally got to hold my son and he had grown up into a handsome little guy, must take after his dad.

I dug out some toys of the girls and Chad and I played on the floor, for what seemed like hours.

I couldn't neglect Amanda, I think Chris was talking her ear off from the sounds of it.

I took Amanda in my arms and told her I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her and that I would do my best to make her as happy as she had made me.

I felt like a teenager again and it just felt right.  I saw Monica out of the corner of my eye, sort of giving us that look and I though, uh oh, what is she up to now.

She turned around and left the room, but little did I know, that was the last time I would see her.  The next morning, I awoke and something did not feel right and I knew in the pit of my stomach something was wrong.  The house was still quiet and I went downstairs to talk to Monica and she was not in her room.  There was a letter on the bed and this is what it read, "Dear Daddy, I know I have made this family miserable and I am so sorry for that, but as long as there is this many in the house, you cannot be with the woman you love and your son.  This is not good bye, this is me wanting you to have a life, because face it dad, since mom has been gone, you have been lonely and you deserve someone like Amanda.  I watched you last night and this is the right thing to do for now.  I love my family, in my own way.  Don't worry, I have saved enough money from my job, I will be fine.  Now, go get Amanda and Chad and be happy.  Love Amanda."  Well, I know I love Monica and I will miss her, but I think she forgot something or should I say someone, Joslin.  I am not quite sure why she didn't mention this, but this is kind of a big thing to forget.  We love Joslin and she will be well taken care of, but, now it is time to plan a quick wedding.  You see, I am almost 90, but I decided to keep a death flower in my bag, because I am not ready to go just yet.  I have a son and future wife to look after and they need me, just as much as I need them.

Joslin didn't take it too well that her mom just up and left, so we did the best we could to help her cope with it.  She spends her time now finishing up a portrait she had started of her mom and it looks like it is going to be a brilliant painting or a masterpiece.  I talked to the kids about Amanda and they said, the sooner we got married, the better.  Amanada and Chad moved in right away and we got married the next day.  Just a few close friends and alot of dancing.  Amanda kind of surprised me and jumped on the counter in the kitchen and had that look, wowza.

She was a gorgeous bride and we have spent too much time already being apart.  The guests had a good time and we all danced until late.

Even Jolina and Johanna were cutting a rug.  After the guest left, we sort of went into a panic, we could not find little Chad.  We could not find him anywhere, until I went in Johanna's room, whew, what a relief.

That mystery is solved, it kept running through my head that someone took him, but no one would have done that.  I put Chad to bed and while I was kissing him goodnight, I remembered kissing Monica the same way and Chad was reaching for me the same way Monica always did, she never wanted to get in her crib.

Amanda was waiting for me, so I couldn't keep her waiting any longer, she was so stunning laying there, still in her wedding gown, so I will say goodnight on this note, love the one your with, like it there is no tomorrow, because there may not be a tomorrow and think of what you might have missed.
