Once a spirit is captured and in its container it cannot be released.

When you banish ghosts instead of talking to them (even though it looks like you are sucking them up) they do not end up in my inventory. Same with the angry ghosts. That's normal, right?

Right. Certain types of jobs add the spirits to your inventory and certain jobs don't.

I call dibs on the bottom half of the board (well, technically speaking, it's actually currently last place What a shocker! *Chuckles*) Drey got a lot of ghosts but they were mostly all pussycats.

A lot of players do not realize the long term value of being the very bottom player on a leaderboard. Take a hard look at the leaderboard and feel all of that knowledge and experience seeping down from other players into your name. It has to. Where else can it go? It can't go up. It's just a question of gravity. What made-up leaderboard knowledge can lilygirl gain above her? Nothing, that's what.

As I recall, I came dead last in the first event I entered last year. Just made me up my game in the remaining contests to boost my ranking... then I took it too far and went on to win the whole tournament
