I know I'm early, but good luck everyone!

Esther, are you finally going to dive into an event? ;)

Hahaha Metro I needed that laugh! If I ever get brave enough, it would certainly not be a baby boomer event!! No, I just wanted to wish everyone good luck!

I'm pretty nervous! This is my first challenge so I'm being extra careful and reading through the rules a few times to make sure I don;t mess up.  :)

This is my first challenge too. Almost my first time playing Sims 3 too. So far I've played a lonely Mad Scientist (Simself), till he died.

Are we allowed to play a practice game before and/or alongside the challenge game once the challenge start date has passed?

Good luck, everyone!!  I think this is going to be a fun one.  I wish I had taken more time to practice...but I'm anxious to get started.  Bummer that I don't have much play time in the next few weeks though...I will just have to live vicariously through those of you who have gotten to start already.

Have fun!

Wishing everyone good luck is fine. But, remember folks, just keep the details of your challenge to yourself. When you're finished, post your score. That's all you need to do.

Oh gosh...sorry! I sure didn't mean to imply I would live vicariously through others by them sharing details...just that it's fun to see others are getting started and I'm sure there are ambitious simmers that will be submitting scores before I even get started so it's just fun to see how others do.  Sorry if it sounded like a grab for strategy or details...definitely not how I intended it.  Thanks for making that clarification, Metro.

Good luck to everyone in this huge event. Looks like me and Esther are the only ones that refuse to participate lol. Exams, people! Including the always-on-cheats. ;D Maybe someday in July, but not in this busy time, sorry.
Well, that's your opinion, isn't it? And I'm not about to waste my time trying to change it. - Lady GaGa

Day late and a dollar short as usual.  Oh, speaking of dollars......are there any restrictions/requirements for finances/houses/lots?  I would assume you can't motherlode, (cheat), but what about thievery or any means of increasing funds?  If you can build a very large house while taking care of all those babies, (yeah, right!), can you keep your kids home or do you HAVE to move them out?  (Visions of 4 story high and low mansions)
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!

Cheating, as always, is out. Other than that, there are no restrictions on income sources.

can you keep your kids home or do you HAVE to move them out?

Your choice.

This is a tough challenge for my second game. Both parents wished for a girl... they got three of them!  ;D  It's a nightmare.  :'(

Yes, Baby Boomer can make you think that way. I remember in BBI, my sims never got any sleep.

My family (Gianta & Hugo Familia) had twins the first time and now one twin says 0 days until aging up, while the other one says it still has 2 days until aging up?  Am I allowed to age the second baby, or do I have to wait?

I can honestly say that this challenge scares me. I rarely play families in Sims 3, definitely not large families, I don't even like playing large families in Sims 2. But I am determined to play all the challenges this year so I'm going to have a go anyway. If you need me I'll be sat in the corner, gently rocking and sobbing!
