Did anyone manage to snap "Slap Fight"? I tried literally everything - it never came up. It was either "Someone in the Area" or the one for two Sims. I got so tired I decided to waste an Ansel Adams on it.

Actually most of the shots were a hit and miss thing. You either click the C button momentarily when it comes up or you never capture that shot. Oh, and for "Photo of Photographer" I think you should take a photo of a Sim living in Champ Les Sims (above YA). Every Sim there above YA has Photography skill of at least level 6.
I did manage to get slap fight.  It registered right away for me.  I also got photo of a photographer, which was taking a picture of a sim you control that is taking a picture of your photographer.  Their photography skill didn't matter.

What's a slap fight? How is it different to a fight?

I got the slap fight by having mother-in-law slap the daughter.

A slap fight is where they just slap each other and shows stars over their heads.  A fight is with the dust cloud like when the police try to arrest a burglar.

Hi everybody!
I am very happy for this is my first time I made it to the top ten. My english is very poor so I don't write often, but I understand quite much. Reading the posts in the forum is very helpful, I learned so much. Congratulations to everybody, thanks for the advices You shared with others.
I play The Sims for long time and enjoy the most in building houses and community lots. I made few of them that works pretty well but I'm still dummy-don't know how to share them with You.
Did anyone made photo of the "A party"? I had problems with the photo "Oh no, snake" and accidentally came to the solution that I wish to share with You.

[Edited to remove strategy information.  -Pam]

I'd be very glad if this helped someone.
I'm trying to partecipate in every tournament. This is a big challenge and a lot of fun to me. I have played a lot of adventures but mostly "Heroes of might and magic" because I like strategy games. By the way I am 58 young years old and I really enjoy playing. Thanks Metro for the great ideas and greetings to everyone

Since when are we not allowed to discuss strategy in closed challenges?

Hello Pam,

With Metro on vacation, you are maybe a bit overworked with managing this board right now ;). This challenge has been closed for a few days now. And the 'oh no snake' shot is a tricky one. I think we are several here who would love to hear the solution found by Agneza.

Thanks for your patience and your hard work here around, by the way.

I didn't have time to practice or research for this one so I just went for it the day before the deadline! My main strategy was the one below...

The main strategy that I used that wasn't mentioned is I had the ghost husband reach logic level 10 and photography level 10 and then tutor my photographer from level 3 to 10 (she got to level 3 using the book).  I used the consignment shop to get the book, the camera, and many collectables by repeatedly buying from it.

I got my sim moved in with Jamie Jolina, she maxed logic and photography before tutoring my sim to level 10. He basically followed her around Sunset Valley while she did stuff for him to photograph. Eventually moved in Hank Goddard and Pauline Wan for extra photo ops and adopted three children before I realised that the social worker wouldn't register, fortunately the limo that came to pick the kids up to take them to boarding school did register so that was cool. I had the most trouble getting the police car to register but I got it in the end. I had my sim get busy collecting and gardening at the beginning of the challenge for photos later on and for gaining a reputation at the consignment store. It was a fun challenge, maybe my favourite so far!

Agneza please post your Oh No Snake strategy again.  Pam probably just forgot that the challenge is over.

Edit:  What I did was point the camera at a charmer until it registered.  It took a long time because she was from Egypt and very good at charming.  She even kissed the snake at some point!

I never did get Oh Snake in Egypt so she bought the basket to take home.  That night a burglar stole it from the front yard and since I was out of travel days I ended using an Ansel Adams on it.  We did get the burglar picture though. ::)

Hi!
Here is again how I solved the "Oh no, snake" photo. One of the householder has to go to Egypt and buy a basket with snake. Then it has to "charm the snake" and after a certain amount of time it gets the options on the basket to buy a cobra. After buying a cobra it has to "charm the snake" (the cobra) and let the snake bite him in the face. Now you have the option "Oh no, snake" on the bited person for few hours.
Greeting to all and thanks for all tips. It really helps

@Metro, which rule did you add to make the challenge of getting specific photos easier? Is it this one?
