Sorry for more questions, but do both sims have to make the trip to France, or can only one go? I know I'm a pain with the questions, but I don't want to send one, only to find both should have gone (I'm thinking it would save money to send only one) As you can tell, I'm giving this alot of thought.

There are no restrictions, so do whatever you want. Do you want to know what the smart thing to do is?

Ha ha. It's a secret for now I guess. Actually I don't think it's a secret. I think it's obvious. If you think about it enough you'll know whether or not it's a good idea to send both to France.

OK, add me. Even though I'm only now about to go and start the Perfectly Happy challenge. Not sure when I'll get to start it, but I will be there. I have done a little bit of playing around with nectar, but not much. Seems these challenges might turn into something like lessons for me!

Been waiting for this one.. Add me to the board please. I've only dabbled in the Nectar making so this should be fun and educational. Looks like Danny DeVino is about to be born.

I think for everyone who does these challenges, they will be a lesson unless you have played around with all the feature of the Sims 3 A LOT (*cough* Metro! *cough*)

With Pam and Carl that makes 13 signups in just over 12 hours! Good lord! Thank you, sir, may I have another!!!!

-------

EDIT: Hmmmm...I wanted to post a nice photo of Zeus and Hera at the top of the rules, but it ended up being so big that a sliding bar was created at the bottom to view the whole thing. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I'm using Photobucket if anyone wants to give me tips. Thanks.

I believe Pam started a stickied thread giving tips on how to post a screenshot in a post.

Oh sorry, I (obviously) haven't read Pam's thread yet so I have no idea what it says. Never mind me then!

This is Pam's photo instructions thread —

http://www.carls-sims-3-guide.com/forum/index.php?topic=21.0

See the Gnome photo in the 2nd post? That's about perfect size. Maybe even a little bigger. I'm just not sure what size that is and what to do in Photobucket to make that happen.

On Photobucket you can click on the pic till its big and with loads of menus at the top, there should be a resize one then click large on that, if not theres a mor eoption or something.

Hope this helps! :)

For the life of me, I cannot figure this out. I'm trying to resize the photo of Zeus and Hera to 640X480 in Photobucket. It lets me resize it and it see that it gets smaller. No problem there. But, when I apply the tags and import the photo to the challenge page it's still enormous, so I don't think the size change stays.

If you are using the IMG code on the side of the page, try following pams guide for the share - post to website - get code - theres an img code there? try that way and see?

Metro, what does this image look like to you?  Is it big enough that it has scroll bars?

Yeah, Pam. That picture is so big it has scroll bars. I don't want that for Zeus and Hera's picture. But, I also don't want the goofy tiny looking things from the Image Posting service via the forum. That's why I set up a Photobucket account in the first place, but I just can't figure out this resizing thing.

-----

Ah, Carl got my email and helped me out. Perfect size, Carl. Thanks. Now I just need to know how the heck you did it.

I want to know how he did it, too!  The perfectly sized images that I've gotten were done through the image poster here on the forum before it went to thumbnails only.  So, I guess all of my Photobucket images are too big.  I have a super-size monitor, so they are fine for me.

Yeah, my iMac's 24" so I just stretched it out some and the scroll bar disappeared on your massive photo.
