First an introduction of the Founder: Dale McDrayden!

Name: Dale
Traits:
- Handy
- Athletic
- Brave
- Charismatic
- Schmoozer
Likes:
- Autumn Salad
- Pop music
- Color Red

Dale received news that his last remaining aunt had died and she apparently left him a big piece of land in Sunset Valley.
Upon reading the letter Dale immediately went down there.

When he got there he saw to his regret that there was no house there, just a huge field of grass.
Having left everything behind and with little money in his account he decides to make the best of the situation. After all,
he was living in the nicest lot in Sunset Valley now.

The first thing to be done was creating a semi-livable environment. To achieve this Dale ordered a fridge, a sink and a counter to
prepare food. Next he ordered a bed so he could sleep.

Now to look for a job, the paperboy just dropped the first newspaper the same morning, Dale immediately went for the job section.
He decided to take the first job listed, starting tomorrow Dale would be a Latrine Cleaner in the military base.
To prepare for his new job, Dale went to the gym to work out. Soon after arriving he got distracted by a gorgeous young woman
stretching in front of a mirror.
Despite of his brave nature, Dale decided to just take a shower and go home. He needed to focus on his job tomorrow.

The first day was nice, he met quite a few colleagues and got along well with everyone.
He even invited a few of them 'home', he didn't have much to offer them so they left quite soon after.

Dale spent his first day off working out in front of the small radio he bought from his first paycheck. He's getting quite good at it.
He also bought a toilet and a shower, so his need to go to the gym for those was resolved.
Due to a few clogs in the toilet Dale's getting handier as well, maybe he can upgrade the darn thing to self cleaning soon. (The toilet is also
the dining room chair)

He got his first promotion the day after that, he now works as a Mess Hall Server. In addition to this Dale received a raise of 6 simoleons an hour.
After this came another 2 days off, nice to have some time to work on the needed skills. Dale also invites one of his colleagues to work on those relations as well.
His only female coworker is now his best friend, maybe that could work out to be something more.
She doesn't like all that flirting, but she is single...

After a few days work Dale received his second promotion to Grunt. Work is getting a little more technical now, maybe this is a good time to work on his handiness.

After a hard days work, Dale stops by the library to read some technical books.
After a few hours he returns home and happily goes to sleep.

The next morning he has a day of and he decides to use it to befriend his boss and one particular colleague.
The big boss is happy to see Dale has build himself a house now, although it's really just the one room.
He promised Dale a promotion after the next work day.

The colleague Dale invited over was Dorothy, she seemed to like him very much.
Dale waits patiently for his boss to leave and after that they spent the whole rest of the day talking and flirting with each other.
After a while Dale asks her if she wants to spend the night. After dinner Dale becomes a little more bold and he asks her to come live with him.
She happily accepts and she moves in with him that very night.

Dorothy discovers a slight problem, Dale still sleeps in a singles  bed.
While Dale works out a little more, she goes of to get a bigger one which they use the same night to work on their wish for children.
The next morning both Dale and Dorothy have to work and they take share a cab.
Halfway during the day, Dorothy came home, she was feeling a little nauseous...

Dorothy must be a new townie.  I don't recognize her name.  Which town are you playing in?

I'm playing Sunset Valley.
She can't be new, I never downloaded any extra for the Sims 3.

Wierdest thing is, I tried to find her in a new game to check her original last name, but she cannot be found...
Maybe she is from another town? or only available trough the militairy carreer?

With the updates to story progression, there are new townies appearing in each game.  We still have the main families (Goth, Landgraab, Alvi, etc.), but we also now have a lot of new random townies appear.

That's for sure. There's a ton of more people whose name is unfamiliar to me. Great for guitarists since it results in bigger weekend crowds.

Dorothy was hanging over the toilet bowl when Dale came home from work.
Still being extremely happy about getting married, he worked hard with great pleasure.
His boss couldn't fail to notice and promoted him to Flight Officer.

At home Dale learned of Dorothy's pregnancy and spends a good deal of time talking and listening to her tummy.
They both hope it will be a boy.

Dale and Dorothy spent an entire day just socializing with each other and working on some skills.
Dorothy needs to become somewhat handier if she's ever to be promoted and Dale could use some more athleticism.

The next day at work Dale got another promotion AND a raise, it really pays off to be happy.

Dorothy had an easy pregnancy and comes home from the hospital with a perfect baby boy.
They call him Brian.
Dale was happy it happened on his day off so he could help Dorothy with the preparations.
He bought a crib and a feeding chair, he would love to buy more stuff, but they are running low on room space.

Brian proves to be an easy child so far, he hasn't cried since his birth.
Dorothy sleeps when dale is home from work so that there is always someone around to take care of Brian.

Dale is actually close to another promotion  ;D
I don't know how, but he seems to find enough time between working and taking care of his new wife and child to build on his career.
And from the moment I started this legacy, everything worked out perfectly... I hope that continues.

ps. Didn't mention this yet, but Dorothy was already an adult when they got married and Dale aged up before the last post.
just to let you know, so you're not surprised when Dorothy becomes an elder soon  ;)
