I have some time off and better i will do it again. I have a back up when i finished the riverview . Maybe i missed some upgrades. I will post the second scorring. If i was wrong, i'm so sorry and next time i will be more careful.

Absolutely. For the record I want everyone to know I am not calling lovergirl dishonest.  It's just that her Riverview time seemed almost impossibly low compared to what other players achieved. So, I just need to be sure that everything is the town is being upgraded.

Ya, the only draw back to this challenge was needing to use the kaching cheat. I had to look up how to use cheats, now I know how to cheat!

I was actually half way through riverview before I remembered we were supposed to use the kaching cheat when we completed an upgrade and by that point I didn't have the patience to add a kaching for every upgrade so I didn't bother, honestly I didn't need the extra cash, the startup funds were enough

Yeah, just to clarify for everybody — you don't have to use the kaching cheat. It's available when and if you need it after any upgrade. I didn't take the time to use it after a certain point either. It was completely unnecessary after I was set up.

I forgot about it too, like everyone else, really didn't need it, I think I used it a few times, but then I just thought what the heck.  You do not even think about it most of the time.

I finished this one. I finished Sunset Valley in week 1, day 6, 10 am. I finished Riverview in week 1, day 7, 5 pm.  Thanks for all the hard work you organizers put into this!

After the Perfectly Happy challenge it was nice to have a quick challenge I could finish in one day. Here are my totals:

Riverview	Week 1, Day 7, 8 PM
Sunset Valley	Week 1, Day 5, 5 PM

I had hoped to do better in Riverview. I had a perfect strategy planned but the burglar screwed it up. I was able to recover from this setback by the time I got to Sunset Valley.

I didn't know burglars could come when nobody is home. In Sims 1 they only came when you were asleep.

So, I finished Riverview for the second time and I know that I didn't miss anything. There isn't a big difference, but first time Darren (one of my team) was close to the "tired" but he finished at the time. Now, none of my team couldn finish the upgrade, so I waited until next day.

My new scoring for Riverview - Week 1, day 6, 4:21 pm.

Maybe I missed something the first time, but now I'm done with everything.

How did I finish so fast? I'll write my strategy when the challenge ends. It isn't anything big, but I am addicted to Sims 3. I know how I can share the time to finish something after chronometer. I'm not dishonest. I do that because I love to play. I want participate in other challenges too.

Thank you for your willingness to do Riverview again. I really appreciate it. There's a significant difference in your 1st Riverview and your 2nd Riverview time. So, I'm pretty sure all of your competitors can live with the 2nd time a little better. You're still in 1st place. Congrats!

I'm not sure where you're confused? The rules say you can take one vacation. It doesn't matter where, when, how long, etc. You just take one vacation. And you don't have to take one if you don't want to.

Time does stand still while on vacation. The only thing that's scored is how long it takes your team to accomplish the goal. Anything related to your vacation has no bearing at all on the score.

I think you're confusing the Playing for Tips info with the example I gave for not divulging too much info. Here's the rule you need to understand:
