That didn't take me as long as I was expecting. But it was still fun.

Sunset Valley: Week 2, Day 1, 15:00
Riverview: Week 2, Day 2, 1:00

Yay for just getting paid $9.50/hr to play that. Double yay for dumb, yet super easy jobs where I can play games and watch TV all night.

Ha ha. That's a sweet gig you've got! Nice job finishing up. I updated the leaderboard.

Figured I would add a screenshot like a few others did.

We have:
Robert Builder (aka Bob the Builder from the kid's show)
Bran Builder (aka Bran the Builder from the Song of Ice and Fire book series)
Linda Tralles (from the ancient architect Anthemius of Tralles)

I like naming things after book characters or historical characters...or in Bob's case humorous reasons.

Keeping within a theme like many of you did, I decided to create the team from the Australian backyard make over show, Back Yard Blitz.

---

My score is:

Riverview = week 2, day 2, 9 pm.
Sunset Valley = week 1, day 7, 1 pm.

---
Also Metro you haven't added my score to the leader board for The Perfectly Happy Challenge, I edited my post with my score yesterday so that's probably why you haven't noticed lol.

I noticed it and intentionally was hoping you'd forget given the fact that I keep moving down the leaderboard!!  ;D No, seriously, I blanked out on that edit. So, thanks for the heads up. Nice job finishing this one up, and great job in Perfectly Happy.

Sorry to push you further down! Lol maybe more planning was in order?
It's all good, just thought I'd remind you, I thought you might have missed it.
Thanks, I had a lot of fun, with both challenges.

Heh. No, that's definitely not the case at least in my effort. It's just a matter of me not knowing some tricks that others do to raise happiness points a lot. But, that's a good thing. If I was in 1st place in all of these challenges it would really look bad given I set all these up in the first place. Players would be calling foul.

I'd like to try this, please sign me up.  I don't know how to take pictures of my characters (and in any case, haven't created them yet), but will be going with the gang from Possum Lodge (The Red Green show):  Red Green, Harold Green, and one of the others  - likely Mike Hamar.  For those who may not have seen Red & the gang, it used to be on Canadian television (no longer, sadly).  The source of such timeless lines as:  "If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy," and ""If it ain't broke, you're not trying."  Stocking up on the handyman's secret weapon - duct tape!

There is a camera icon somewhere at the bottom right of the screen. Just get all your Sims together, pause, and click the camera. It was take a screenshot which you can access from the game launcher window. Select the screenshot and click "Show File" or something along those lines. It will give you the directory location of the image.

Actually, the camera icon is in the lower left of the screen.

Thanks Pam and wonderboy for the information on taking pictures.  Now that I have a picture of the gang from Possum Lodge, how does one get the picture into a message?

I'll be very interested to hear other peoples' strategies when this is all over.  No way I am going to get close to the top scores!

You can also use the 'C' button to take a picture like the 'V' for video.

Go ahead and sign me up for this challenge. I'm hoping to finish this after my amazing run at the nectar challenge, but luckily this challenge seems like a really short one.

Count on it, kid! Oops, I mean, best of luck!  :D

Seriously, I am SOOO glad you're diving into the real deal, LostGirls. Yes, the challenges are competitive, but I think you'll find them a heck of a lot of fun as well. Besides, this is the section where I usually hang out which means you can more efficiently throw your verbal abuse at me.  :D

This challenge looks like good fun. I just have one problem with it though... where on Riverview is Azalea Acres Community Gardens??? If someone could give me a screenshot, that would help a lot. (I'm rubbish with directions) I'm almost finished with Perfectly Happy, so I should get on to this one at least after I've finished that challenge.

Do you see where the 2 bridges cross the river? Azalea Aces is the park right where one of the bridges crosses the river. There's a house right next to it too.

I've made a a little family for this one now, so would like to join in. I have 2 sisters and a brothers from the Fix-Its family- Jennie, Jemima and Jim Jr (taken from Jim'll Fix It - an 80s TV programme over here in the UK). All have the handy trait and will hopefully not want any babies this time. (this is why I made them related so no woohoo and babies by accident! LOL)

Metro - I think I know which park you're talking about. Is it the really narrow, quiet one on the same island as the gazebo and all those other parks? I'll need to go 'sploring in any case.

Saffivort - I share your concern. That's why I'm making male triplets named Alessandro, Cristiano and Emiliano Moretti. I like being random ;D And I've made them male so that if I do decide to take them to Egypt and they meet Sekhmet Hawas, then they're in no danger of getting pregnant.
