To add on to what Nancy has just said, remember that if two Sims happen to do the exact same Op (exact same name), only one of those Sims may claim it as his or her own.
To illustrate, let's assume Jane and Joe BOTH do Fresh Fish. Fresh Fish nets a great score for both Sims, so good, it is in both of their Top Four. Jane received 400 simoleans and Joe earned 200. You (the player) now have to choose which one (Jane or Joe) will claim Fresh Fish as a Top Op. In this case, I'd choose Jane. Since Joe can now not claim Fresh Fish, I'd have him select his 5th highest Op to round out his Top Four.
At least, that's the way I understand the scoring.

I took the liberty of making a real example of the tally table I did in Reply #58. Obviously, the numbers are made up but I hope it gets the idea across. Notice, even though most Sims did more than four Ops, only 4 were scored (the bold ones). And, in cases where two Sims did the same Op, only the Sim who scored higher got to claim it. Sim C, for example, would have liked to have claimed Ops 12 and 13, making her individual score higher. But in each case, she was beat out by her teammates. Therefore, Sim C earned a slightly lower score, but the team as a whole scored higher.

Of course, during the Challenge time period, I'm assuming we'll be able to fit in more than 16 Ops. i just stopped at 16 in the example because it was enough to make the point.
I hope I haven't overstepped my boundaries by making this example but there always seem to be so many questions around scoring on Challenges. This is how I plan to organize for this one. I hope it can be of help to someone else.
