Finding Relics

Ever since the latest patch after high end loft, when I travel and I am asked to find a common relic, the game no longer shows where to locate them.  Has anyone else noticed this? or is it just my game?? Is there something on this forum that can help me?  I know about the red bugs that they appear and disappear, but the finding the relics is a new on to me. Help!!

Personally I have never had to find one as my sim always has some in his inventory from tomb raiding, so can just go straight to 'deliver relic', but I know that you can buy relics from the relic merchant (cheap ones), have you tried doing this?

Same with me....my sims usually already have something in their inventory. But still I've never seen anything show up in map view to show where the relics are located other than the Tear of Horus.

Same here. But I patched at the same time I bought WA so I thought that was normal.

I didn't know it said where to find them? I just looked around for a dig site or what ever it is called and have normally found some and on the odd occasion a more valuable item.

I don't think it ever has said where to find relics.  But it's ok, because relics are really easy to find.  Just go to any tomb or excavation site, open every chest etc till you find what you need.
