Yes, you're correct.  The expansion pack isn't required.  Traveling isn't banned, but it's not required, either.  Metro will add you to the leader board the next time he logs in.  Good luck!

I don't think I am doing to well at this, I am at week 6 day 7 and neither of my couple have finished their second career, one is a promotion away and the other is two away! I predict I will finish at around week 13! Probably within the next week or so because I have two weeks easter hols!

I played the game I had been playing before I started the Nectar Challenge and everything seems to be going well with that.  So, I suspect that my computer just didn't like the amount of plants and the nectar machines I constantly had going.

No, you're not too late.  This one doesn't end until the middle of May, so there's plenty of time.  Metro will add you to the leader board the next time he logs on.  Good luck!

How do you figure that Abyshep won't be entered in the scoring?  Where did you get that idea, samoht??  Please let the Administrators and Global Moderators address these issues.  I realize you're just trying to be helpful, but in this case, you gave out incorrect information.

You're right. I guess I originally was thinking somehow the different career paths were land masses. Go figure.

Right as of week 4 day 3 my sims are at lvl 5 and 3 at in their second career. One of my sims had to dig into a trash can to get some info, she came out with an outstanding lettuce seed, a pink diamond worth 1430 and a soulpiece worth 1749!

Thanks for the reply on the Nectar Making, I will definitely give it a go but the thrill of competition adds an extra Je Ne Sais Qui! It will be interesting to see how I match up to others as I've recently discovered Nectar Making and am hooked (which is how I found this forum).

Anyhow I'm getting there with my Sims and both are on Career 3 but this is a lot harder than I expected!

I am definatly not coming first or even fifth by the looks of it! I am week 8 day 4 and both are only level 3 or 4 in their third careers! I got so bored through days off and awkward in betweens I had their adopted son have a baby with the maid, the maid moved in and turned into an elder... So now the Son has had a baby with someone older than his parents.

EDIT: I am now getting worried, the thrid career for my female sim is not going well, I had an hour till she had to go to work and now its saying work starts in 1 day! I am worried because She is level 5 in this career and it will throw a cog in the works! Her husband is level 6 in his third career!

I had that too in my chaps second career. For days in a row it would say that he goes to work in x hours then the time ticks down and no carpool. I tried to send him to work manually but I get a message saying 'It's not your work time try again in x time'. His time to start work ticked over and I tried to send him to work but it then said 'It's not your work time try again in 1 day' (or whatever the message is, I’m afraid I didn't memorise it I was too busy throwing things round the room and scaring the cat's by shouting at the computer like a mad woman!)

It was really annoying as it delayed his promotions and made me grrrr with annoyance. It was only that one career though. Her three have been fine (she’s now on her fourth) and his other two were ok. It happened over and over again at many levels.

I'm still nowhere near the top of the leader board but it got very frustrating!
