Wow, glad you got out of there, I would have been really scared being in your position. :o Did you ever find out if there was an actual robbery there?

Not really. I just wanted to get home as fast as possible. LOL.  ;)

Happy Anniversary Twinmum! Many congratulations to you and your husband.

It was snowing quite heavily here last night (5-10 centimetres, 15 in some places) and it settled, which is a good thing. Unfortunately I have to do my homework but I'm not too bothered. Mainly I just look at the snow, I think it's pretty.

Happy anniversary, Twinmum and happy late birthday, Carl and Pally!

Just about to snow here in 'sunny' (ha) Scotland! :P I despise the snow. I never liked the snow but last year really took the biscuit. The UK had the 'big freeze' and of course Scotland, being up north, had the worst of it. We missed two whole weeks of school and the snow was insanely thick. Missing school may sound good but once we got back we had to miss out lunchtimes to make up for the missed work! :P I'd be happy if I never saw snow again!! (Apart from on sims ;) )

I'm not a big fan of snow either. I'm actually sitting with a hot water bottle and blanket, loading up Sims to have a go at starting an Immortal Dynasty because I had like three pieces of homework (less than I had anticipated.) Looks like I have an afternoon of Simming.

Lucky you! I just found out my legacy file is corrupt and I have to replay a chapter and the two chapters I was preparing.. :P As the new title of it says, I do think I have the unlucky trait - this is something like the fifth time this has happened and I'm only on gen 2. :(

@Vamp I watched the second trailer! I can't wait!! I don't have any friends where I live that have actually read the Hunger Games or know what it is (They will soon though, I just know this will be far bigger than Twilight ever was!!) but I'm dragging my cousin, as well as munchies and a box of tissues and my mockingjay pin, to the cinema on the 23rd and I shall make a fan out of her. :P I'm attempting to get all my friends reading. I've bought my friend the box set of books for his 21st birthday. He better read them. :P

Haha Fez, I'm the same as you except most of my friends were fans before I was! Most of my class is hooked on the series at the moment. When we had a secret santa thing in December the girl who got me gave me The Unofficial Guide to the Hunger Games.  ;D

Happy (and late) birthday to Carl and Pally, and happy anniversary to Twinmum as well! :)

I had some friends over at the farm this week so I didn't have much time to come around or play any sims. Too bad I have to go back to the city to apply for my German student visa (my acceptance letter from the German University finally arrived - 3 months too late!) and prepare some other things as well... I will only be there for a week, but none of my friends or family are there at the moment so I'm not really looking forward to being there!

Anyways... I got a new cat  ;D she's 1 month old, will be living at the farm... and my parents have no idea about her hehe! There's a man living at the farm who takes care of the sheep and cows at night and while we're not there, and he had a cat who had 3 kittens... so I adopted one! He will be taking care of her while I'm not around and my parents will think its his  ::) . She's the sweetest cat ever.

Will the kitten still be with its mother?  Four weeks is really too young to take a kitten away from its mother.

Yay for the Giants! I live in NY so I'm pretty happy.  ;D Actually I don't know a thing about football so I guess I'd be happy no matter who won.  :P

Today was the first time in my life that I watched American football  ;D My sister and I looked up game rules earlier this afternoon (because we had absolutely no idea abouot the sport), picked sides, and then fought during the whole match haha I picked the Giants and won :)

The game was something fun to watch.

You might want to be careful here because that's some forum members' favorite team. *points to self*

You ask, why am I not rooting for my home team? Because my home team is literally the worst NFL team of all time.

Happy Waitangi Day to everyone here in New Zealand!  :)

I just had the best Waitangi Day, went on the annual Waitangi picnic with friends, it's been a lovely hot day too. (Although not as hot as last years which was the hottest day of the year x_x). We tried out everything on the playground like the big kids we are, I fell off the stupid merry-go-round thing, ow. x_x Then we went to the beach, so lovely and cold, I've got sand and salt water everywhere but omg so worth it!  :D

Can't wait until we get to have fun together again! (Which will be very soon).  :D

I love Summer so much!  ;D

Happy Waitangi Day!

@Rainbow Did you actually go up to Waitangi physically? My family came back from a trip today, so we couldn't go - we were recovering resting.

Lol, no, just Spencer Park in Christchurch, where we go every year, I wouldn't go to Waitangi just for the day, I'm not a fan of long trips.  :P
