I think it's important to mention that another negative side effect of Perform Experiment On is it completely makes the item vanish. Irreversible. Happens to me a lot. Poor gnomes.

Ha, ha, ha! "Poor gnomes", a classic! They always have had something like that coming to them!
Annoying little mystery gnomes. ;)

I think it was mentioned, I would check again first. I know I read it somewhere on the site... and that made my day.
Those poor Gnomes; remind me to try that experiment when the daughter of my household becomes a mad scientist...  ;) -I vanish to do some serious mad scientist laughter!-
Ok, I think I'm good now.

I remember in Makin' Magic where the animated garden gnomes went and could get drunk on wine right before they petrified again when the spell vanished and they became frozen in a drunk position indefinitely before you would re-animate them again.

Yeah, happens to me to. But instead of poor gnomes it was poor Master Chef Fridge for me. Any item is okey, BUT that! To solve that I desided to reload my game while knowing I haven't saved it resently. :(
