2: Metro is not doing a 2013 tourney, which means it's our last chance to try to beat NancyJ and ClayMask enjoy the challenges he creates.

Oh no. That means it's my last chance to play a challenge.  Metro, what's the word on all challenges being allowed to use make needs static?

Esther it's totally allowed to use cheats like that in every challenge. The only small problem is that you'll get banned. But no biggie really.

Lol. Uh, negative on that, Esther. However, I like cheating as much as anyone else and I promise to toss you one static needs event, as always.

If you mean #3 and #4 I will post those rulesets approximately Feb 1 (one month before those events start).

I am referring to event number two, Career Caps and New Digs.  There is a small snippet  on the tournament schedule, but I do not see a link to that events thread, where the official rules are and where you would post your score.

There is already a thread and has started for some people. Check the Challenges Board.

My game is only updated to version 1.19 and I can not figure out how to get the latest updates! Does that mean I can't participate? No hard feelings if I can't

Do you have Orgin formerly known as EADM installed?

I recently tried intalling Origin, but then my game would not start. After I uninstalled Origin, my game worked again.

Can we trade one ea building for another?  For example, the generations park for may wood glen?  And, do the dog/ cat parks count as "new" lots, or do they just fall under a park category?

No. You can't change existing structures. You can only add missing buildings.

If a sim steals something by glitch - eg: they don't put a musical instrument back when they are finished playing - what do we do? Can we add them to the family to get it back and then remove them (if thats possible in TS3)? or add familyfunds to the amount of the lost object?

By Sim, do you mean a burglar NPC? I'm not sure what you mean by glitch.

She means if you have a guitar and are throwing a party and one of the guests plays the guitar and when thy are done puts it in their inventory and leaves.
I'm confuse about the age settings now. It says to put them to the far right, but I'm absolutely positive I'm patched up all the way and they are in the middle for me.

The way I understand this is to just set them to long and leave them! if you are unsure they are in the right spot just slide it to normal then back to long and leave them at the preset setting.

I would just have to call that situation tough luck.

I'm only half way through week 2 of a practice, and had to replace the bass FIVE times, and the piano once. Edit: the disappearing instruments may have played a part in glitching the file.


New question: The rules say Sim Lifespan = Long (leave plumbob sliders at default far right setting). Does that mean that, unless specified by a challenge that the pets' age sliders are free for manipulation?
