I'm certain I'm going to score poorly, too.  Being an "expert" with having babies and raising them doesn't help me one bit in this challenge!  Getting those LTWs is killing me.

p.s.  mespunky, you need to upload your avatar again because the forum was recently moved to a new server and the images didn't transfer.  :)

I am with you there Pam. I didn't try the other baby boomer challenge but I am great at raising Sim kiddies. :D The lifetime wishes though... that's something else entirely.

Yeah, this challenge is really NOT about the babies!  I'm down to the end thinking, oh crap!  Those LTW's are going to kill my score. lol  Kinda wishing we got bonus points for those other toddler sklls, because THAT I can do. lol

Oooh - I have a question now, resulting from a combo of a post of Metro's a while back and the scores I'm seeing posted.  Do the LTW points for Sims you marry into your household count toward your final score?  Or is it only descendants of the original two Sims?

Take a look back at the rules on the first page of this thread.  Metro modified the scoring section to address this issue.  If it's confusing, post again and Metro will address it the next time he logs on.

Absolutely. They become part of the household and can be scored as noted in the bold rule in the scoring section.

Final scores:

2 parents achieved LTW:   2 x 4 =   8
6 children achieved all:     6 x 10 = 10
2 toddlers achieved 1       2 x 1   =  2
                       Total                  70

Does the skill have to be gotten when they are a teen or if they age up to teen and already have a skill does that count or would they need to get another?

Good job finishing up. So, just so I'm clear, I have the following:
Toddler—8
Child—12
Teen—18
LTW—32
=70
(This is how I want it presented...just like the table)

No, as long as they have a skill when they're a Teen, that's fine. It doesn't matter when they got it.

I assume it works the same way with friends? Both of my boys had best friends as children, so they don't need additional friends as teens?

Also, is it OK if they only get the honor roll moodlet for one day, or do they have to remain on the honor roll until they age up?

So I officially hate my computer. my entire thing just crashed and just as i was saving the game. I'd finished the challenge like five minutes ago. I lost my score. Anyways.. Great Challenge though!

I'm going to try again though for sure!

Correct. The Teen relationships just need to be stronger.

They just need to achieve Honor Roll. Doesn't matter how long they're on it.

You didn't keep notes for your scores? You were going to finish in 5 minutes and then you crashed? You cannot start the entire challenge over if you essentially did the whole thing. How could you not know what you had already accomplished?

EDIT: I need to know specifically what you're intending to do. Do you not have any notes at all? Can you not load from a backup to play your file again? Give me specifics so I know how to approach this.

Finished! That was an intense challenge =)

Score:
Toddlers: 1x10=10
Kids: 4x2=8
Teens: 6x3=18
LTWs: 8x4=32
Total: 68

I never want to do that ever again, but it was awesome.

Here are my scores:

Toddler:  8 x 1 = 8
Child:     6 x 2 = 12
Teen:    6 x 3 = 18
LTW:     5 x 4 = 20

Total:  58

Wow.  I really thought I'd do better than that.  What a disappointment.

Thanks, pallyndrome.  I really just can't make myself push my Sims as hard as I'm sure our high scoring members do.  It makes me all tense if I do that and then I don't enjoy the game.  Or else they've got some kind of secret trick that I don't know about!  :D

Pam, you don't have to feel bad about pushing them, you probably should if you pushed them to sim heaven!

Pam, in my opinion, you did awesome. I've never told you this, and I wanted to openly share this with you on the forum because it's important—I think the fact that you take part in all of the challenges really helps with participation. Players see an Admin dive in and they naturally want to be part of the fun too. And that's all it is—a fun diversion for all of us.

mespunky, did you see my post above? I need to know the details of exactly what happened with your file. Can you go back to an old save file? How much of the challenge is left or are you already done?

P.S. could an admin please take my name off the list.

Okay, we're clear now. Thanks. Sorry about the computer problems.

No I'm sorry I didn't see it. No its pretty simple my entire PC crashed. I had my dad (a computer tech) fix the pc and I had to reinstall the game. Good thing it was a quick and easy fix. Anyways. I'm sorry for not finishing. But this challenge was great but I would really like to just try the legacy challenge again. Sorry.

No problem. My understanding from your original post about your problem was that you had finished this challenge. Is that correct? Did you not take any notes on what scores you had accomplished?
