Thanks Metropolis Man! I will look when I get home. The original couple that I created in CAS to start the challenge have long since passed on, so I'm guessing yeah. I'm way past the 8 weeks, lol!

Hmmm...I'm a little confused at how this all happened where you played your couple to the point of them passing on, but just let me know when you find out. Unfortunately, like all challenges, you have one attempt at this one, so it's looking like I will need to remove you from the leaderboard.

rokrchik's first challenege attempt on this forum - epic fail! lol!

Like I said, I was thinking you created a couple and had babies and then those kids grew up and had babies and so on for 8 weeks real time versus 8 sim weeks. I really didn't understand the rules completely and I think I kept forgetting I wasn't doing a legacy or something. I do know that my CAS created pair had 3 kids. One of them completed their LTW before passing, the other did not. Whether the LTW was granted prior to the 8 week mark, I don't know.
Of the three kids - all 3 got the toddler points, two got the child points and all 3 got the teen points. None have completed LTW (yet).

Ok, next challenge I am kicking butt. And now that technically I am done with this one I can play with my new WA expansion pack! Wee!

I hate not being able to at least put your points on the board that you earned. I can't give you points for the parent's LTW since you don't remember if the one was finished before the cutoff. I'd be willing to at least give you the Toddler points, Child points, and Teens since you were quite clear about remembering specifics. And those accomplishments would have happened before the cutoff. Does that sound fair?

Wow! That's really nice of you! Thanks!

I'm pretty sure the one LTW the one founder got was well after the 8 weeks since she got it shortly before she passed. I retired her and then wasn't but a few days later she passed.

You bet. It won't be much, but at least you'll have something on the board to show for your effort. Needless to say, read your next rule set a little closer.  ;) Thanks for participating.

So far my couple, Laurana and Tanis and doing well their twins Caramon and Raistlin, with more of there brood on the way. :)

No, I guess I don't.

Yikes. Hopefully, you haven't gone over the allotted time limit. Directly underneath your Sim's LTW is a white box. Mouse over that and you'll see Weeks and Days. Open your file and tell me the information at your earliest convenience.

OMG I didn't realize it was that simple.  I kept a day-by-day diary of what happened in the game to make sure that I didn't lose track of what week it was.  I could tell what day of the week it was by checking the career tab, but I had no idea there was an accessible game clock LOL.

Metro -

It might be a good idea to add something about the in-game clock to the rules of the challenges so this doesn't continue to happen.

Wow! I finished and it was a challenge alright. So Josh and Melissa Aplenty had 7 kids and both completed their LTWs. Seth who got everything aside from his LTW. Alex who got everything including his LTW. Rick who got everything aside from his LTW. Kevin who got toddler, teen and his LTW. Kate who got everything aside from her LTW. Gabby who got everything aside from her LTW. Ben who only got toddler since he never aged past that.
While I was playing I noticed alot of things that I could have done differently and got more points but for my first challenge I am happy with the results.

Toddler  7x1=7
Child      5x2-10
Teen      6x3=18
LTW       4x4=16

Total         51

I think I did that right. Just fix it if not!

Thanks! It does. I just posted my intent on the new political one starting soon!
I know nothing about the political career though.
I am more like you Pam! Babies I can do. LTWs are a whole other story! LOL!

My thanks to Abyshep for pointing something out to me. As a result I added the 2nd sentence to the following rule for clarity:

  • No Sim can eat Ambrosia or Life Fruit. Steer clear of the Bistro or you may accidentally eat Ambrosia.

You can always just send the meal back.

If you eat inside there's no option. You would just come outside with the moodlet. But, if you eat outside, then you'd see what you're about to eat. So, I think it's probably best just to tell players to avoid the Bistro.

I love babies too, but this one was out there, lol.

7 x 1 = 8
5 x 2 = 10
5 x 3 = 15
4 x 4 = 16

total    49

that is ok, the next challenge will do better, so watch out, lol

Sorry to ask another question but I want to be clear on this before I start. Do you get a point for your teen Sim for a single skill point in a skill i.e. level one on Charisma, or do you have to Max out that particular skill?

Thanks

It just needs to be a single skill point, not a maxed skill.

With the skill point thing, you have to get one for a kid then one for a teen, can you just improve the skill you started? Say your sim studied Logic and got a skill point as a child then as a teen reached the next level - would that count or would it have to be a different skill.  ???

There is no skill requirement for a Child. Only a Teen. So, obviously any skills learned as a Child would qualify when the child ages up.

I'm finally done. This one went right down to the wire. I got three lifetime wishes in the final weekend and narrowly missed out on two others.

Ben and May each got 4 points for their lifetime wishes.
Peter, Harry, Mary Jane, Betty and Flash got everything for 10 points.
Gwen got 6 points (no LTW).
Reed only got 1 point for toddler skill. He got his LTW at 12:20 AM on day 51. >:(
Johnny and Benjamin got 5 points for toddler skill and LTW.

Totals:
9 x 1 = 9
6 x 2 = 12
6 x 3 = 18
9 x 4 = 36

Final Score 75
