@samoht - It's the hoppin' place to be in my game too. So much so that all the simmies stood around tapping their toes at each other instead of just saying, "After you" and remembering their manners.  I ended up bumping out the walls a bit to accommodate the crowds.

With this kind of popularity, you may consider franchising the Blue Fire Interwbz Cafe. I hear the folks in Hidden Springs would love an internet cafe.   :D

Lol, that is interesting. It was just one of those Community Lots that was suggested as an idea, I made it and never expected it to be used since it was so small!  :D

Lol, I have no idea why my Internet Cafe is so busy!  ;D I'll have to go take a look and see if it is busy in my game too.

It's always packed in my games, too.

Mine too.  Strangely enough the other place that is crammed full is the horse training grounds across the street from the Grange.  The Grange might have one or two Simmies in it but at the same time, across the street, people are jamming in the jons, running around the track, WITHOUT their horses, lol, going up into the bleachers and having picnics.  They just hang out there all night and day.  There really isn't anything there for them to do that but that's where they are.
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!

I've had a game going in Union Cove for 6  Sim weeks, and only now are vampires beginning to show up. So possibly the large number of families slowed the growth of vampires. Celebrities are less prevalent, too. I'm also pleased to say that the lagging quit after about 3 Sim weeks, except around the big mansions.

In my game, Sandy Claws is the food merchant at the market. I would've expected the actual consignment register but this still made me laugh.

There is a consignment register on the same lot, just a different stand.  :)

I have a couple pictures I want to share. So you know how objects are white a lot while the textures load? Well, here's what sims look like before the textures load!

And Joe Marsden is a stylist in my Legacy. :)

This thread is for exploring and sharing information and things about Union Cove, you'd probably get a better answer in the technical help thread for union cove here. Oh and it also doesn't matter which country you are in, I'm in the UK as well. :)

Here are two photos of the scenery in Union Cove. The first one is of one of the roads with palm trees everywhere around it.

And the second is of the 3 Waterfalls. How awesome are they!

I love that road  ;D But waterfall is behaving bad! Bottom one is huge and covering everything, it was amazing view from Thymes and Claws lots, and very exciting expirience to fish under it, but  it shows only with that lot loaded (lake between)>:( One of the things on the list of fixe!

This is very nice. Reminds me of Downtown Miami, close to Miami Beach. Sooo pretty! They have roads like this.  :D

I finally was able to use Union Cove!  Had to buy a new computer to do it though. However, it does take a long time to load.

I must say it is very beautiful and I already love the Townies.

Is there anywhere in Union Cove to find toddler books free for the reading? My YA sim can't afford to buy them to read to her daughter.

Have you tried the Library to see if the Shelves come with any of them?

It's a very specific bookshelf - the cheapest one.  You can add it yourself via Edit Town if you don't see one.
