I've finished playing the Bottomless Cellar Lifetime Wish and will be writing it for publication.  However, I need a break from it and will start on the Private Museum Lifetime Wish.  Just letting everyone know so there's no duplicate efforts.

I'll be writing the Martial Arts Master LTW walkthrough and noted this in Carl's first post of this thread.

Sweet, thanks for updating the post too.

This will be a fun one for me as I'm going to take advantage of this walkthrough and do many things I have never accomplished in the game. Obviously, there's the Martial Arts Master LTW, but I want to write a Masterpiece. I've done writing with other Sims, but have never taken the skill to that level. So, Bruce Lee will be a writer as well. Kicking a mummy's butt complete with screenshots will also be on Bruce's to-do list. And I'm sure there's other things I haven't thought of, but this walkthrough will take some time since there's more that I want him to accomplish than just the LTW. It should be fun.

-----

EDIT: I'm taking Bottomless Cellar off of Pam's hands after I return from vacation.

EDIT 2: Done. I've noted this in the first post.

EDIT 3: Pam, great job as usual on the World-Class Gallery walkthrough. I loved the names of your characters and was hoping you'd "work it" a little more and slap me in the face with Brady Bunch or Superman stuff!  ;D

Thanks, Metro!  I've continued playing this family and they now have FIVE children:  Greg, Marcia, Peter, Jan, and Cindy.  Lol.  They have cracked me up because neither parent has the Family Oriented trait, but just as soon as a baby is born, one or both of them want another child.  Little Cindy is still an infant and they want a sixth child now.   :o

I've decided to write a walkthrough for the Visionary Lifetime Wish.

Awesome, thanks Metro! I'll do my seasoned traveler one this weekend if the France guide goes really smoothly. Unfortunately with school starting monday, I won't have nearly as much time to write :(

Back to the salt mines with you, eh? Oh, well. I hope you had a good break. On the visionary article — get ready for Stevie Wonder to max out painting and photography in record time! No, I have no shame.

Yep, shameless but funny that. Breaks are always too short when there's a lot of other things to do...

I fixed my task on the agenda, meant to take Seasoned Traveler but had Great Explorer marked instead.

It was a toss up for me between having Stevie do Visionary and Rosie O'Donnell do Physical Perfection. I ended up tossing a coin.

 Hi,
i reccomend you set up a section on the guide for challenges: it took me ages to track down the rules for the legacy challenge and i bet there are a alot more challenges too, i found the official rules for it on the official forum and could post up here if you want.
I've also heard of the 3 sims challenge but not sure of the rules

The Legacy Challenge is not a site exclusive event. There are simply too many challenges floating around — many worthy of a toilet bowl — for our moderators to link for forum members. That's why we have established challenge standards for the site and only deal with top shelf forum member created challenges listed at the Guide and in the Challenge section of the forum.

Hi Pam, I was just wondering, I ADORE Sims 3, and I just got the World Adventures Expansion pack. I have created a Sim and his daughter Jamie. (I am sometimes forgetful about the names of my sims) His lifetime wish is the 'The Great Explorer'. He has already fully explored a Pyramid (The Dream Pyramid or something, but it looks like The Great Pyramid of Giza, which it probably is) and I remeber the adventure very well; it may take a while but if Carl, yourself or somebody are not working on it I would like to write 'The Great Explorer' LTW walkthrough; as I saw that nobody has written a LTW walkthrough yet and if somebody is already working on it is there anything else that I could write? Because I love literature and I love to write. So Sims 3 and writing would go great with me!

Thanks

Snowyluc

Welcome to our Forum, Snowyluc!

I merged your post into this topic because it's a better match than where you originally posted.

The Great Explorer walkthrough has not been claimed.  If you'd like to start writing it and send me the first part of it to review, that would be great!  Just use the same format as the other walkthroughs in the Guide, including the traits of your Sim and step-by-step descriptions of how you completed the LTW.

If you have any questions, just send me a private message and I'll be glad to answer and help!  And thanks!  :D

Since I knocked out the Perfectly Happy Challenge quickly and the next one doesn't start for 2 1/2 weeks, I'm looking for something to do for the Guide. So, I'm going to pen an article on advanced guitar-playing. I know Carl already has a guitar guide, but I want to approach it differently and really hammer down some tricks that I use.

Plus, I want to address two key general purpose skills for Sims 3 — the importance of a Utility Sim and Party Throwing 101.

------

EDIT: I'm scrapping my guitarist article idea above for now. I need to work on something else.

Sounds like some great additions for that articles page I've yet to make. Doing info gathering for France, but I've spent so long on this web server thing it's being delayed again.

Well, my project on relationships has been going on for a while; I am happy with the progress. I am finding out some really good stuff on relationships and whatnot!

I'm taking my name off of the Physical Perfection article for now. That doesn't mean I won't do it at all — I may turn my attention to it eventually, but I've got some other commitments that were dropped on me in another forum I moderate.

Hi, I know I haven't been on here for long, but I would like to offer up anything I can. I actually have my planned career track to become a writer. If you ever would like some help I would love to help! I really love writing stories from the Sims 3. I love your guild and would be honored to help. :) Wow that sounded a bit formal but its true! Haha. Plus I have a lot of freetime and I like looking for new ways to do things.

Hi LivvieLove.  Thanks very much for the offer.  We've gotten most everything written for now.  There are a couple of Lifetime Wish walkthroughs that haven't been finished.  They were spoken for at one time, but they haven't been done.  Let me do some checking and I'll let you know if they need to be picked up by someone else.

I just noticed that your mummy guide is fine but it doesnt tell much about life as a mummy. I'd be happy to do a bit of research and write about what I find. I was curious to see what other changes occured when your sim becomes mummified.

I love the idea of adding more to the mummy guide. Send me notes if you like, or pen a new section. Thanks a lot for offering! I take these in PM but appreciate you asking first (I'd ask anyone who wants to volunteer to please do, as their work may not fit with existing content).

As to myself, I've done a lot of background work lately and haven't been producing much for the guide but will have something ready this weekend. Transfiguration needs a lot of work and of course there's France   :o
