This Sims 3 Guide was originally written for the PC and Mac versions of the game, but also will help owners of the console versions - PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii. Please remember some info or numbers may have changed.
This is a listing of all Sims 3 charisma challenges. Here I'll provide some tips to help you complete these challenges a bit faster. Each challenge does great things for your Sim's ability to make and keep friends.
Celebrity
The Celebrity Charisma challenge provides a hefty boost to your Sim's ability to make friendships. The relationship bar will move much more noticably once you have completed this. One of the easiest ways to meet the 25 total Sim's you'll need, is to play guitar. Playing guitar makes friends, and people stopping by to listen will become acquaintances, allowing your Sim to rack up a dozen or more relationships in a single day.
Personable
The Personable challenge will give your Sim a boost to the chance they'll learn another Sim's trait. To complete this challenge, your Sim must know 50 traits from any other Sim. To do this, try to use conversation topics like get to know (under friendly). If your Sim talks about a topic they are interested in, such as virtuoso's enthuse about music, your Sim may discover they have music in common with another. Also, talk about art may cause Sims who hate art to lash out.
The Personable trait, in combination with the 5000 happiness point Observant Reward can allow you to learn all of a Sim's traits upon meeting them.
Use computer chat when you can, because that will also help your Sim to learn traits.
Super Friendly
Once your Sim has befriended 20 Sims, they will complete the Super Friendly challenge. Super friendly makes it so that friendships never decay. You'll never have to juggle friendships again.
This challenge is the same as the Super Popular Sim lifetime wish, so completing the lifetime wish gives a double benefit.
Everybody's Best Friend
Get your Sim to have a total of ten best friends to unlock everybody's best friend. This will let your Sim skip the good friend stage and jump immediately to best friends with any Sim. With Irresistible greeting at level 10, and a lifetime reward like attractive, your Sim can quickly gain best friends. With Super Friendly, those best friends will stay best friends with your Sim forever.
Comedian
Tell 100 jokes to complete the comedian challenge. This will give your Sim the benefit of almost always telling successful jokes. Jokes can really move the relationship bar in a short amount of time. If you have the good sense of humor trait, this will set your Sim's comic abilities through the roof.
