Be a Helpful Player
Try to watch for your friends' wall posts requesting help. The more you help people, the more they will help you in return. We all hate waiting around on that third friend to sign the petition or lend a helping hand. If you can speed this up for me, I'm going to take the time to look for your news feed requests.

Share the Bling
When you finish building an object, always put the notification on your wall feed. That way, your friends can collect Bling. Everyone needs Bling at some point to send luxury objects on their lot.

Gifts, Bonuses Reset at 11PM EST/8PM PST
At that time, you can send out requests and will find that you can visit friends and once again use bonus energy.

Log in Daily
Try to log in daily. You will get an increasing bonus for each day you log in, up to a max of 5. It will then reset, and you can start building up again. Even if you can only log in for a few minutes, it is enough to maintain your bonus.

Gardening is the Best Money Maker/Experience Earner
Gardening is a favorite skill in The Sims 3. In The Sims Social, it's not a skill but the average farming activity you find in Facebook games. It is the most profitable activity, but you can only have four gardening plots on your Sim's lot at a time. If you can play the game off and on for long stretches, the 5-minute strawberry provides the most profit per hour. You should pick the plant that will be done when you log in next. If you are planting something at night and will get on in the morning, consider the 8-hour Chili. The nice thing about Gardening is that you will get 20 experience even for a lowly strawberry. Pursuing these extra points every day will help your level to rise faster. Gardening profit is NOT affected by your Sim being inspired.

Complete Quest Objectives with Free Energy
You should try to use your daily bonus energy for visiting your friends' lots to complete quest objectives. Some things require you to be home, but other things can be accomplished by visiting Sims and using their objects.

Use Your Requests Sparingly
You can only send out item requests to each of your friends once per day. So, say you need rubber duckies, bling, and furies. Send 1/3 requests for each item type. Make sure that reliable friends are in each group, and you're sure to snag a couple of each.

Gift what you Need
The list of things you can gift in The Sims Social is rather short at the moment. Still, you should gift what you hope to receive in return. Sometimes this may be energy, other times you might need something like Goodwill or wrenches. When friends accept and send a gift back, you get exactly what you received.

Check 'Do Not Ask'
To any of your Sims playing The Sims Social actively, receiving a gift is always wanted. So, when sending gifts make sure Do Not Ask is checked. This will save you from waiting for the box to load and confirming on each and every send. With a lot of friends, this could take ages!

You Do Not Have to Load to Accept Gifts
This one is on another page of the guide but bears repeating. If you are clicking your wall feed for 'Get Simoleons' or 'Send Help' requests, hold the control button down to open them in a new window. This will save you from going back and forth.
