Sunset Valley 2020
Inspired by Naga's improved Sunset Valley, Jaga Telesin and MrsFlynn have released Sunset Valley 2020 and a post directing you to download links can be found below. This uses fixes from EllaCharmed's Sunset Valley map and works to improve performance and reduce the amount of stuck Sims. You'll find many of the lot types already installed (Consignment, Salon, Junkyard etc), Parks upgraded for Generations, and Equestrian Center and Horse Ranch and even Dive Spots from Isla Paradiso.
There are both Vanilla and Chocolate versions to download. You can Learn More Here. Vanilla features a number of new Sims populating the world, while Chocolate includes more Supernaturals and some upgraded lots. The more packs you own the less will be replaced as this was built for players who own many packs. See full credits/contributors and get a full features rundown in the link above.

The Sims 3 Dragon Valley World Guide
Ricalynn has written a Guide to the Sims 3 Dragon Valley World. It is fully featured and covers places in the town itself, Baby Dragons that are included with the World, a list of residents, and collectibles maps that will help you find all the rare things you need like Palladium, Pink Diamonds, and Alley Catfish to catch Angel Fish and reel in those Death Fish after midnight. This is the first in a series, with the next coverage featuring Aurora Skies. Rica has accepted to cover all the Worlds in this style, and that has me enthused about the quality of information I will happily host here. It appears we'll have the most comprehensive information on worlds all in one place here, but it'll take some time.

About Carl's Sims 3 Site
Born July 16, 2009, this Strategy Guide seeks to help Simmers from all over the world with detailed and informative articles, hints, and tips for The Sims 3 and its expansions. We largely favor a powergamer mindset, and shoot for making the most money, finding how it works, or doing things better and more efficiently. You'll find step-by-step instructions, and screenshots to help you accomplish things in the Sims 3. Collectively, we've written over 200 pages of content for the game. If you'd like to see a listing of every article we offer, have a look at our Sitemap. There you'll find a full list of articles, along with a search tool that will help you to track down the info you need.
We have a staff of 3, with Pam Marsden and Tom Schlueter helping Carl with guide writing and the forum. If you explore the guide you'll see we've had lots of help from our growing forum community. We have numerous volunteer moderators. To learn a little about our staff, visit the Staff section of our Sims 3 Forum. Many of our moderators have supplied walkthroughs or in-depth articles for the Guide.
If you don't yet have an account, sign up at our forum to provide tips and tricks, suggestions, and corrections to the guide. You'll be helping me to improve something that has helped over 100,000 Simmers from around the world. The Sims 3 is far more complex than meets the eye, and without readers like you this guide wouldn't be nearly as accurate and helpful as it is today.
Players are able to contribute information through the comments system. This allows the site to function somewhat as a Wiki, for players can enter additional information and discuss game mechanics to help other Simmers. Questions about the game and specific features can be asked on those pages, although I (Carl) cannot answer them all. Do not expect answers to be swift unless you use our Forum. Many bits of helpful information can be found using the site's search function, which goes through about 20,000 pages of content to help you find an answer to your questions.

I found this site and IMO it is the bestSims3 guide that I have found!
Will you be able to keep this particular Sims 3 site up and as-is?
I've been relying on your site to help coach me through Sims 3 - and your site is notable due to the huge wealth of information, filled to the brim of info regarding both depth and breadth.
I'd hate to see it go while I'm still a newbie.!
I'm sure there are plenty of other people who will stick to Sims 3 for a while, and it would be a shame if all this good info was to disappear! Please let me know your thoughts on this - should I be frantically trying to accumulate/index this content, if you are planning to delete?
Thanks,
Allie
It's not 2014 anymore, I still LOVE this site, and I don't want it to go anywhere! Pleeze?? The game's not gonna disappear, I'm one of this game's 'oldest wierdos', maybe not in terms of age but I played it when it was still in testing, and I'm stil playing it!
I was playing The Sims 3 and I literally just found this out on complete accident! Its a quick way to make friends....CTRL+SHIFT+C
Type in the usual: testingcheatsenabled true
Then go to your relationship tab
Pick the sim you want a better relationship with and click anywhere in the green bar under the sim's picture
This will set the relationship as wherever you clickedIts kind of hard to explain, but if you have the game then you should go try it out and if you have any questions then feel free to ask! :D And dont forget to pass it on so other simmers can learn this too!
Regards,
Katherine

We cannot find an "auto save" type option in the game settings either?
We have great tips on managing this as well as how to uninstall and then reinstall for a fresh and hopefully relatively bug free game!
