Good Sims are kind at heart. They are nice to other Sims unquestionably, and don't even have the option to be mean. They give to charity, and can comfort others with friendly interactions. This gives them a +15 mood boost for three hours. Good friends are nice to have around. Good Sims can't be evil, or mean spirited of course!
Game Description
- Your Sim can donate to charities by clicking on the mailbox!
- Your Sim doesn't even consider doing mean interactions to other Sims.
- Your Sim gives other Sims the comforted moodlet when doing friendly interactions on them.

Actually, Good Sims CAN have the Mean Spirited trait, and similarly, Evil Sims can have the Friendly trait. I'm not sure how the social interactions happen, though.

From what I have seen so far this trait seems to tame the mean spirited sims a bit. It looks like they still can perform the same mean interactions, like beating up a pesky guest, but, from what I've seen, are less likely to do that autonomously. At least it did come in handy when I wanted my all time fave Scrooge-like elder premade from some custom world to stop causing mayhem in town, find himself a wife, let her live and even have some little Scrooges inherit his large old manor and his secret. The good trait however doesn't seem to prevent sims from autonomous flirting with others when in relationship with somebody else/ cheating, so being good in TS3 is potentially quite fake. That would be useful if somebody wanted to make flirty and romantic sims flirt only with their respected partners.
