This one is very straightforward. It boosts the royalty checks for every book your Sim writes. Very handy for professional authors and journalists who may occasionally put out a book. The boost here can be pretty hefty when your Sim writes a masterpiece.

I have the Acclaimed Author lifetime wish or goal thing and I'm not earning my big royaltie checks, I'm in level 9 in writing but my royalties checks are only about $356 or so.. Not that much and I've written 7 books. On Sundays I only get $2,000 to $3,000 and that's not what it's suppose to be.

If you check the simoleon level on each book you'd notice that some make more money than others because their rank is higher. I earn about 100 000 a week in royalties that built up over time because a book pays out 6 royalties and i write abour 3 books per week all averaging at around 9 000 each. I only write romance novels though. Highest pay out.
